The kids are finally out of school, the days are getting warmer, and it’s time for fun in the sun! July is about to unfold in the land of Salem, and from the looks of it, the drama is about to heat up, too! 12. Ciara Returns

DOOL spoilers indicate that Ciara will return in early July. Added teasers indicate that she’ll have a mission in mind, and that is getting Ben to sign their divorce papers. With that said, the Executive Producer of the show, Ken Corday, does promise a happy ending for this couple. Perhaps a Cin reunion doesn’t happen in July, but storylines might be heading in that direction.

11. A Fire On The Horizon?

The DOOL summer video hints at a fire caused by a lantern. It’s unclear if Ben (or Ciara) will get caught in the flames, or Eli and Lani; however, there’s a good chance that a fire disaster could strike in July. If it is Cin who’s trapped, could this bring back horrific memories for Ciara? Could this pull her further away from Ben, or closer to him?

Despite the shenanigans that Paulina has been up to, it doesn’t sound as if her relationship with Abe Carver will slow down in July. Seems as if Abe will offer her the support she needs to move forward.

Could this be a certain doctor that Gwen and Xander accidentally disposed of recently? As per a Days summer preview video, Salem’s police department will be on the case right away!

Speaking of Dr. Snyder, Gwen and Xander will continue to bond in the weeks ahead. DOOL spoilers suggest that Gwen will confide in Kiriakis soon. Could this be about what she did to Chad and Abigail? In added teasers, Gwen will find herself in the “hot seat” soon. Is this about the body found in the lake?

It’s hard not to think this could be Allie’s twin Johnny, who develops a crush on Chanel! It would make this storyline even more sticky, considering the sparks that have flown between the ladies.
