Will the good guys in Salem bring the Devil down before Christmas? Will something terrible happen to Ciara or baby Cin? What kind of havoc will Jan Spears cause? What about the mystery surrounding Philip? There’s nothing Days of Our Lives (DOOL) fans love more than speculating on storylines! As such, below are some DOOL plotline predictions for December 13th to December 24th, 2021.

12. The Devil’s Antics

The Devil is going to kick it up a notch as Christmas approaches. He could get away with a lot when people weren’t in the know; however, now that many within Salem are aware that Marlena’s possessed, Satan’s games won’t easily fool them. As the heroes and heroines fight back, the Devil’s antics will intensify over the next couple of weeks.

11. Ciara’s Kidnapped

Days spoilers for the week of December 20th imply that Ciara will be the Devil’s target. Family, friends and loved ones will do everything they can to keep her safe and protect Baby Cin. Could the Devil try to kidnap Ms. Weston? Can John and Ben stop Satan from harming Ciara and the little one she’s carrying?

10. Jan Returns!

DOOL spoilers for next week suggest that the Devil will awaken Jan Spears from her coma to distract and cause chaos. As Spears will have Shawn and Belle on her mind, could “Shelle” end up distracted from the task of helping John, Ben and Ciara?

9. Will Ciara Be Okay?

With Shawn and Belle preoccupied, will Ciara be okay? Days’ winter preview video reveals a scene between Doug, Julie, Ben and Ciara at the Horton household, where Weston promises to bring the Devil down with everything he has. Satan’s focus might be Ciara and her baby he may even kidnap her (or attempt to) — but by the time December 24th rolls around, the Westons will be together. But will the Devil be brought down?

8. Satan’s Demise

There’s a good chance that Satan will go down over the next two weeks. He’ll ramp up his evil plans and do some creepy, spooky and horrifying things, but he’ll go down on either Christmas eve or Christmas morning. There’s also a very good chance that Salem will still be celebrating Christmas during the week of December 27th, so certainly by the end of 2021, the Devil will be gone from the little town. With that said, there may be a “tease” he could return someday.

7. Kate And Victor’s Hard Choice

DOOL spoilers indicate that Victor and Kate will have to make a difficult decision this week. From the looks of it, they may have to come to terms with Philip’s passing, even though it’s likely the police won’t officially find a body. The parents may even have to decide on organizing a memorial.

6. Kate’s In The Know

This week’s Days preview video shows Kate walking into a room, seeing something (or someone), and then being floored. Viewers don’t get to see what Kate does, so could this be Philip, revealing he’s alive to his mother and bringing her into the “loop”? Added teasers for the week of December 20th note that Lucas will see something that stuns him, as well. In fact, what Mr. Horton sees could be a “game-changer”. Does this have to do with Philip… or could it be about Sami?

5. Brady’s Good News and Bad News

Over the next two weeks, Brady will probably lose Chloe’s trust and faith. Evidence will continue to mount, which will make him look guilty. Throw Philip’s memorial into the mix, and Lane will be downright depressed over what’s happened as well as Brady’s role in it. While he’ll lose Lane, the good news is that Belle will look at the evidence and believe her brother is being framed. As John and Marlena will be preoccupied with the Devil, at least Brady has Belle in his corner.

4. Things Are About To Get Complicated!

EJ still has feelings for Sami. It’s clear that he was hurt by her betrayal, but he also recently acknowledged that he wasn’t the best husband to her in recent years. Sami’s going to try and kiss EJ this week, and he’ll likely push her away. Sami doesn’t take well to rejection, which may land her right back in Lucas’s arms. But if EJ still loves Sami, many will stand to get hurt if he continues to pursue a relationship with Nicole.

3. Nicole’s Expecting

It’s hard not to think that Nicole may get a special holiday gift in the form of a baby. Could she feel as if she’s expecting, take a test, and be stunned (both in a good and bad way)? Holly was a miracle baby… but could lightning strike twice? What if Lucas somehow stumbles across this test and is completely caught off guard? He’ll assume the baby is EJ’s and realize that DiMera now has zero chance of ever getting Sami back. EJ will jump at the chance to fake the child as his.

2. Johnny and Chanel

Johnny and Chanel will return to Salem during the week of December 20th and from the looks of it, they’ll have some interesting news to share with friends and family. Will they decide to move in together? Are these two engaged? Should fans gear up for a Valentine’s Day wedding? How will Allie feel about all this?

1. Horton Homecoming

DOOL spoilers for the week of December 20th imply that the Hortons will experience a holiday homecoming with twists and turns around every corner. Sounds like this storyline could revolve around the official return of OG Jennifer Horton, played by actress Melissa Reeves. Jenn is set on coming back to Salem for Christmas, but wintry weather may change those plans. With that said, it sounds like Ms. Deveraux will be back in Salem with her family, just in time to hang her personalized ornament on the Horton tree. Typical feel-good ending for a perfect Days Christmas.
