Days of Our Lives (DOOL) fans have been left hanging for two entire weeks, thanks to the 2020 Tokyo Olympics! What is set to unfold in the land of Salem? There’s nothing more fun than speculating on storylines! As such, below are some DOOL plotline predictions for August 9th to August 20th, 2021.

12. Things Are About To Get Steamy

The much-anticipated Cin reunion will unfold over the next two weeks. This coming week, Days fans should expect a little conflict between Ben and Ciara. After all, Weston did kidnap her right before she was ready to marry Theo. However, by the end of this week, Ciara’s memories will come flooding back. By the week of August 16th, Cin fans should expect some steamy reunion scenes between these two.

11. What About Allie and Claire?

Sounds like Allie and Claire will be drilled by Shawn, Belle and Eli about where Ben and Ciara are. Theo will get the police involved when he realizes that Ciara’s gone missing. Allie and Claire will keep a tight lid on who has Ciara and what Ben is up to. The police are sure to find Ciara by the end of this week, but by then, Ms. Brady will finally have her memories back. Allie, Claire and Ben won’t have to worry about any repercussions.

10. Heck Hath No Fury Like E.J. Scorned

E.J. will confront Sami about her affair with Lucas, and her worst nightmare will come true. This week, he’ll call her out and boot her out of the mansion. But will this be the end of E.J.’s fury? There’s a good chance he’ll retaliate with a scheme to nail both Sami and Lucas to the wall. E.J. will feel like a fool for being lied to, and he’ll lash out.

9. A New Love Triangle Emerges

Nicole will lean on Rafe now that Eric is gone, and Days fans might see some sparks fly between these two. Nothing will happen, as Hernandez is in a relationship with Ava; however, there will be longer looks between the two. Something will be there between them, but they won’t act on it. Vitali will also “pick up” on the chemistry they have.

8. Ava Schemes

Doesn’t seem too far-fetched to believe that Ava will scheme to keep these two apart. She’ll notice there is something between her boyfriend and BFF and nip it in the bud. She may even try to throw Nicole under the bus where Rafe is concerned. Vitali will chip away at the friendship between Walker and Hernandez to ensure nothing more develops between the two. She’s got a good man in Rafe and does not want to lose him to Nicole.

7. The Apple Doesn’t Fall Far From The Tree

Will Johnny DiMera be a hero or a villain when he enters the land of Salem? DOOL spoilers hint that he’ll return to the little town the week of August 16th, and Chanel will catch his eye. But is this a good thing or a bad thing? Sounds like it may be a complicated thing!

6. Johnny Will Be Relentless

Regardless, will Chanel reciprocate Johnny’s feelings, or will she nicely try and keep him at bay? Will he be relentless in his pursuit of her, or get the hint? Will he scheme to try and win her over? Will he be more like his grandparents Marlena and Roman, or will he be a “DiMera” through and through? When E.J. first came to town decades ago, he did not stop until Sami was his, literally blackmailing her into sleeping with him. Will fans see Johnny use the same tactics?

5. Johnny Comes Between Allie and Chanel

Johnny might even “come between” Allie and Chanel. These two are business partners and BFFs; however, Johnny is Allie’s twin. The two share a bond that no one can understand. If Johnny is rubbed the wrong way by Chanel, and she hurts his ego by rejecting him, then he may ask Allie to choose between them, or make Chanel look bad.

4. Johnny Doesn’t Like Tripp

Then, there’s the idea that Johnny may not get along with Tripp. This could place a wedge in Allie’s relationship with the up-and-coming doctor, which would thus allow Chanel to move on in. Eric found it very challenging to navigate through Sami’s hate-on for Nicole; will Allie be placed in the same scenario?

3. Will Olivia Bring The Price Family Together?

Olivia, Paulina’s mom, is set to enter the land of Salem. She’ll be played by acting legend, Marla Gibbs. Sounds like Olivia will be just as saucy as Chanel and Paulina, which will add some interesting drama and possibly humorous moments as well. But can Olivia help to bring Lani and Paulina back together?

2. Lani Will Be Stubborn

DOOL spoilers imply that Lani will still be upset with Paulina when the soap returns to the air this week. She won’t be able to shake what happened and forgive her aunt for what she tried to do. Despite Paulina working overtime to gain Lani’s trust again, it doesn’t sound as if she’ll soften. Can the family’s grandmother help bridge the gap between Paulina and Lani?

1. Xander and Gwen

DOOL spoilers for the week of August 16th note that Xander will get arrested. Is this over what happened to Dr. Snyder, and will Gwen speak up on his behalf? Or is it Rizczech who points a finger at Xander in the hopes that she can deflect any repercussions? Added teasers note that Gwen will “weigh out” her options at one point over the next couple of weeks. Will she do the right thing, or slither away and try to wash her hands clean of everything?
