12. What’s Olivia’s Secret?

This week’s Days preview video indicates that Paulina’s mom Olivia (played by Marla Gibbs) is set to arrive in Salem, and with a secret! Could Olivia be the one behind tearing down Horton Square? Could she be a secret investor? Maybe Paulina isn’t a self-made businesswoman after all. Perhaps her mom has been pulling the money-strings all this time.

Cin is back and in full effect! However, now that Ciara remembers her love for Ben, does this mean that Allie, Claire and Weston won’t have to worry about possible kidnapping charges? Absolutely! The trio will be cleared of all wrongdoings, plus fans should expect Ciara to apologize to Claire for all the hate thrown her way recently. The only downside to everything is poor Theo and his broken heart!

Will she want something “bigger” to take place, or will she be happy with simple nuptials?

Days fans should expect a Salemite to depart this week, as Claire Brady is given an offer she’ll find hard to refuse. As actress Isabel Durant leaves the soap (for now), what will have Claire saying “goodbye” to friends and family in her hometown? Sounds like her singing career might be calling once again. Could a record deal be on the horizon? Maybe she’ll take Theo along for the ride!

Johnny DiMera will come back to the land of Salem this coming week. Johnny will hit on Chanel as soon as he arrives on the scene. Chanel will also tell Allie about this “new guy” she’s met. Sounds like Allie won’t realize that Chanel’s Mr. Right is her very own brother.

Allie will also be jealous of this new man in Chanel’s life. Without knowing who the guy is, Allie might deter her friend from jumping into anything with an “unknown” man. Allie will likely put two-and-two together about Johnny and Chanel by the week of August 23rd, if not the end of the month. She’ll feel silly about her jealousy. After all, she should want Johnny with a great gal like Chanel, and vice-versa — but she won’t. That’s because she wants Chanel all to herself!
