Days Of Our Lives: Plotline Predictions For July 2020

A new month is on the horizon, and it’s only natural for Days of Our Lives (DOOL) fans to speculate on what might come next. With four weddings (and a funeral) promised in the next four weeks, who will end up saying, “I do?” Who ends up passing away? What will come to be for characters returning to the show? Will any characters decide to leave Salem? Below are some DOOL plotline predictions for July 2020.

13. Who Ties The Knot?

DOOL spoilers for the summer promise four weddings and a funeral, so which out of the four couples will tie the knot? Based on teasers for the beginning of the month, Elani looks like they will have some drama at their wedding, but they’ll end up becoming husband and wife. Meanwhile, Cin also have a good chance of saying their vows.

12. Who Does Not …?

DOOL spoilers for the summer revealed that Eric and Nicole would be engaged; however, teasers indicate that the two solidifying their union seems slim. Then some spoilers seem to imply that Justin and Kayla may not end up having their wedding as planned when a major crisis hits as Kayla is getting ready for her big day. Could this have something to do with Steve?

11. Who’s Having A Funeral?

Claire is trying to make things better, and DOOL spoilers hint that she and Ciara will bond as they plan the Cin wedding. But what if she goes off the deep end leading up to Ben and Ciara’s nuptials? What if Claire crosses a line and is then shot? What if she does something after they say their vows? Gwen is another possibility, as she seems pretty expendable. What if she plans something terrible for the Cin wedding?

10. Could Adrienne Be Alive?

DOOL spoilers suggest that Justin Kiriakis will see something very unexpected at Adrienne’s grave in July, the week he is supposed to get married. Could he see something that reveals Adrienne could be alive? Could someone have left a message there? Perhaps a gravestone has been switched? Maybe her grave has been dug up, leaving Kiriakis with a ton of questions.

9. Jake’s DNA Results

Jake will get the results of his DNA test early this month, and both he and Gabi will be taken aback with what they see. What kind of twist could this storyline take? Could the results come back inconclusive? Could they need to re-take a test, and further delay any answers around all this?

8. Gwen vs. Gabi

Regardless of the test results, Gabi and Gwen are sure to go toe-to-toe with each other, fighting for Jake’s attention every step of the way. Jake is smitten with Gwen and has a history with her (that he remembers), but there is an attraction between Gabi and him that is unexplainable. He’ll gravitate towards Gwen while having to fight an unknown urge for Gabi this month.

7. Vivian’s Role

There’s a good chance that Vivian and Gabi could unite for the greater good of helping Jake realize he is Stefan DiMera. Gwen would not want to have Alamain as an enemy, and Gabi herself is a force to be reckoned with. While Vivian doesn’t care for Hernandez, she will align with her in order to bring her son back. What schemes will they come up with?

6. Goodbye Brady?

Kristen has returned to the land of Salem and is set to reunite with Brady soon. Brady has missed DiMera, and the very thought of losing precious moments with Rachel has been heartbreaking. While he will be tempted to head out of town with Kristen and his daughter, will Brady Black be able to do it? Seems far-fetched, but it would make sense. Perhaps he will call on Philip to help Victor in his absence.

5. Phillip Returns

Philip Kiriakis is set to return to DOOL “sometime this summer,” as actor Jay Kenneth Johnson reprises his role. If Brady exits Salem, he may call upon his uncle Phil to help Victor with Titan. Or, Victor may call as well. While no airdate has been determined for Philip yet, there’s a good chance he could show up sometime in July, which would change the game within the Kiriakis family.

4. Sarah and Xander

It’s only a matter of time before Sarah forgives Xander, and it seems to be coming very soon. With that said, will her little one-night stand with Brady end up biting her in the butt? Could she wind up pregnant later on in July, mere weeks after she and Xander reconcile?

3. What’s Eve Up To?

Eve Donovan is set to return to Days either late July or early August. There is a small chance that Eve could return with the idea of snagging Brady back and trying to get her foot back in the door at Titan. Brady could leave Salem, although if he does, he’d also be cutting ties with Teresa, which means no updates on Tate. Perhaps he decides to stay, and then Eve walks back into his life…

2. Allie’s World

It’s hard to predict exactly where this storyline will go, as it’s already had too many twists and turns! WilSon is extremely interested in adopting Allie’s baby; meanwhile, she’s very sure that she wants Rafe to take on the responsibility of her little one. Rafe will probably say no, and she’ll most likely turn to WilSon; however, as the month goes by, Allie may grow more and more attached to her child than she believed possible. Will she be able to give up her baby … even to her own brother?

1. The Sami Factor

Sami is expected back in town sometime this summer. Could Sami roll in and nix Allie’s idea to give her baby to WilSon? It’s not that Sami would be against Will and Sonny raising the baby; however, she’s a control freak and would want Allie with the child under her own roof. Could Will’s mom be the person who ruins the idea of him and Sonny expanding their family?
