Stacy Haiduk, who plays Kristen DiMera on Days Of Our Lives (DOOL), will briefly return to the sudser this summer. Soap Opera Digest (SOD) is reporting that Kristen will visit her best friend Lani Price (Sal Stowers) before her wedding to Eli Grant (Lamon Archey).
Spoilers tease Kristen will be stunned when she slips into Salem and finds out both Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston) are maintaining she did not stab Victor. But she’ll be convinced she needs to stay in hiding for now, since Lani knows exactly what happened on that fateful day.
Haiduk told SOD her return will be a quick one and not permanent. Her character exited the sudser in mid-May and the actress was off the DOOL set for five weeks, when Kristen went on the run with her daughter Rachel.
She took over the part from Eileen Davidson (Ashley Abbott on Young And The Restless) in 2017 and has appeared on and off DOOL since then. And although Kristen committed some appalling acts over the years, she had become a more sympathetic character during her last few months in Salem.
