February sweeps is such a big month in the calendar year for Days of Our Lives (DOOL) fans! As such, viewers tend to speculate over what kind of drama could unfold. Will Devil Johnny continue to cause chaos? Will anyone find Abigail? What will happen with Xander and Gwen? It’s hard to say. Regardless, below are some DOOL plotline predictions for February 2022.

13. The 2022 Beijing Olympics Block The Drama In Salem!

Just kidding! The Winter Olympics is a beautiful event that brings the world together and only comes once every four years. NBC is covering it all, so that means that yes, Days will be pre-empted for two weeks in February, from the 4th to the 18th. However, for those who love everything winter sports, viewers will get to see the best-of-the-best compete.

12. Don’t Fret About V-Day Fun!

While the Olympics do take place over Valentine’s Day, it appears that DOOL will still offer plenty of scenes that cover the big holiday, either before or after the Olympics. Days spoilers promise that Valentine’s Day will still take place in Salem at some point, despite the Olympics pre-emptions.

11. Devil Johnny Breaks Up Jake And Gabi

DOOL spoilers reveal that Devil Johnny will convince Gabi that Jake has betrayed her. She’ll likely break up with her boyfriend because of this, leaving Jake very confused. The Devil is quite smitten with Gabi and will probably put the moves on Hernandez while she’s vulnerable. Will Gabi take the bait?

10. Gabi’s Entranced

Devil Johnny will attempt to bed Gabi multiple times over the next month, but circumstances will always get in the way (people walking in on them, phones ringing, etc.). Eventually, the two will do the deed and this will change Gabi. Sure, she’s a schemer, but she does have her boundaries. Sleeping with Devil Johnny will erase these lines she wouldn’t have crossed in the past, and she’ll become his devilish accomplice.

9. Jake’s Confused

Jake will be confused, not only by the “betrayal” Gabi is speaking of but her altered behavior, too. Unlike that one time he “gave up” on Kate and her weird behavior (when Kristen DiMera was parading around as Roberts), he won’t give up on Gabi or their relationship. He’ll remain adamant about scoring his girlfriend back, even though he won’t understand why she’s acting the way she is.

8. Tripp Proposes

Across town, Tripp will propose to Allie this February, and she’ll likely say “yes”. Lingering in the shadows, Devil Johnny will look to destroy the couple. He may stumble across the news that Allie and Chanel had a passionate night together and spill the beans. The days are numbered for the good doctor and Ms. Horton, but luckily, she’ll have her BFF to lean on.

7. Where’s Abigail?

DOOL spoilers suggest that Chad and Tony will team up to find Abigail. The DiMera pilot who sent Sarah (and now Abigail) to Kristen’s island will likely be cornered. The two will eventually make it to the island for a big rescue, but so much will happen in February before Abby comes home.

DOOL spoilers for February hint that Abigail will soon find out that there are more Salemites on the island than just herself. It sounds as if Abby won’t only realize that her uncle and aunt (Steve and Kayla) are there, but also her long-lost cousin, Sarah! There’s a good chance that all four will band together to escape and head back to Salem.

5. DiMera Brothers Add The Assist

It’s likely that the four stranded Salemites will work together to escape, but they may hit a roadblock. Luckily, Tony and Chad will swoop in for the save. Sarah, Steve, Kayla and Abigail will return to Salem. Will they leave Kristen behind (either by accident, circumstance, or on purpose)? Is this how Ms. DiMera exits Salem (for now)?

4. Sarah Stops The Wedding

Tripp won’t be the only man proposing to his gal pal this February. DOOL spoilers indicate that in an effort to put Sarah behind him, Xander will pop the question to Gwen and she’ll say yes (obvi). It also sounds as if they’ll plan a quick wedding over the coming weeks, but added teasers note that Sarah will return just as they are about to become husband and wife. Will Sarah stop the wedding, or will she be too late?

Actor Greg Rikaart returns in February to reprise the role of Leo Stark. Turns out, Leo will be the man who’s won the heart of Chloe Lane’s dad. Chloe and Brady will be stunned as Leo officially returns to the land of Salem in February. So, is Stark really in love or does he have an agenda?

There will be friction at first, but they’ll eventually see that they have some common ground. Could their prison friendship rival the one between Ben and Will, circa 2019/2020?

Lani’s about to find out TR Coates is her bio dad, and while he will insist that he’s changed, Paulina’s intuition will believe otherwise. DOOL spoilers suggest that Lani will be cold at first and proceed with caution. However, she’ll eventually try to give TR the benefit of the doubt. Meanwhile, Paulina will be very protective and want her daughter to stay away. Has TR changed? Probably not.
