Hallmark’s Holiday Movie Lineup 2019: Breakdown Of Hallmark’s New Christmas Films
Hallmark Channel’s Countdown to Christmas campaign has become one of the most-anticipated events of the holiday season when it comes to movies and television. When it comes to wholesome, sweet, and original holiday films packed full of recognizable stars and Hallmark Channel favorites, the network has done more than delivered. As popularity of their made-for-TV holiday films has grown, for the special 10th anniversary edition of Countdown to Christmas, Hallmark Channel revealed that it would have 24 brand new films for the 2019 season while Hallmark Movies & Mysteries’ Miracles of Christmas will have another 16, leading to a record-breaking 40 new Christmas films from Hallmark this year! All of the movies premiere at 8 p.m. ET/PT, so here is a full breakdown of all the new films, who stars in them and when they will air:

40. A Merry Christmas Match
Stars: Ashley Newbrough and Kyle Dean Massey.
Plot: “Corey Calvin dreamed of being a theater director in the city but that meant abandoning her late father’s antiques shop in her small hometown as well as leaving the local Christmas Pageant as director. When L.A. hunk Ryder Donnelly visits her shop, more than Christmas lights twinkle and their affection grows. A surprise gift from Ryder convinces Corey to attend a holiday soiree at the Donnelly estate. When Corey sees Ryder at her Christmas Pageant, she reaches a crossroads. Does she owe it to her dad’s memory to stay in Harmony or owe it to her heart and finally listen when love calls?”

39. Christmas Wishes & Mistletoe Kisses
Stars: Jill Wagner, Matthew Davis, and Donna Mills.
Plot: “Former interior designer Abbey Fuller can’t resist the opportunity to redecorate businessman Nick Sinclair’s grand family estate. But her challenge involves more than furniture, paint and a tight Christmas Eve deadline. The real conundrum is Nick, a buttoned-up workaholic who surprises Abbey, and himself, when he begins to reveal the kind, thoughtful man beneath the polished façade.”

38. A Nostalgic Christmas
Stars: Brooke D’ Orsay and Trevor Donovan.
Plot: “When Anne Garrison visits her hometown in Maine for the holidays she is torn between returning to New York and her career as a toy buyer for a national department store, or remaining in the small town to take over her dad’s hand-carved wooden toy business and see where a burgeoning romance with a handsome local might lead.”

37. Two Turtle Doves
Stars: Nikki DeLoach and Michael Rady.
Plot: “Neuroscientist Dr. Sharon Harper, who studies loss and grief, returns to her childhood home following the death of her beloved grandmother to get her affairs in order. She becomes reacquainted with Sam, the disheartened estate lawyer and single dad, grieving for his late wife. It’s both Christmas and her late grandmother’s will and testament that challenge Sharon with a quest for a long-lost family heirloom that leads them both to confront old memories with making new ones. When she is faced with choosing between her past and her future, she rediscovers what the holiday — and life — is truly about.”

Plot: “Cate is the CEO of Merry & Bright, a struggling small-town candy cane factory. Gabe is a New York consultant tasked with saving the company. With Christmas approaching, Gabe travels to the town, only to find Cate resenting his efforts to restructure her business. Though they initially clash, they soon develop feelings for each other. But when Gabe urges her to accept a high-profile investor’s suggestion to abandon the traditional methods of her business, Cate parts ways with him. Plot: “Audrey and First Sergeant Matt have been writing each other since last Christmas, when her brother Devin shared some fresh roasted coffee from the care package she’d sent. When Matt unexpectedly shows up in her small-town coffee shop, Audrey is delighted to see him. Soon, Matt helps Audrey with the annual Holiday for Heroes event, which honors local service members. 31. The Mistletoe Secret

Stars: Torrey DeVitto, Chad Michael Murray, Drew Seeley, grant Show, Lolita Davidovich
Plot: A recently single Jessica (DeVitto) sends Christmas cards to give people that have impacted her life — the aunt (Davidovich) who raised her, her younger brother in the military, a popstar (Drew Seeley) that was part of the soundtrack of her life, the music teacher that inspired her, and the best friend who always tells the truth. It seems however her music teacher’s letter is opened up about his son, played by Murray, that sparks a relationship between the two.

Plot:“While planning the family Christmas gala, Peyton is forced together with Ben to care for a friend’s daughter. While finding their Christmas spirit, will there be some romance along the way?”

25. Our Christmas Love Song
Stars: Alicia Witt
Plot: There is no plot synopsis for Our Christmas Love Song yet. It is known however that the film will star Alicia Witt who has become somewhat of a Hallmark holiday movie staple. Witt has starred in Christmas on Honeysuckle Lane, The Mistletoe Inn, Christmas List, and more.

24. Christmas at Graceland: Home for the Holidays
Stars: Adrian Grenier, Kaitlin Doubleday, Priscilla Doubleday, and Chase Bryant.
Plot: “We return to Graceland at Christmas, but this time, with a whole new story and cast of characters! Returning home to Memphis for Christmas after three years abroad, Harper Ellis hopes to land her dream job as associate curator at the Brooks Museum in town. Not one to sit still, and waiting to hear back, she’s excited when she’s asked to create an Elvis-at-Christmas exhibit at Graceland, where she gave tours in high school. Stars: Chaley Rose, Rome Flynn, and Teryl Rothery.
Plot: “Former pop music duo – and former couple – Averie and Jesse are reunited at Averie’s inn over the holiday season. As the two spend time together preparing for the Christmas festival Averie is hosting at her inn, they rediscover long-buried feelings and notice the creative spark each one lights in the other. While Averie balances planning for the festival and trying to impress a hotel critic, Jesse catches a glimpse of what life with Averie would look like, possibly revealing a dream he never knew he had. As Christmas approaches, the two must decide if they are meant to live their lives solo or in harmony together.”

Plot: “Career-minded Rebecca’s plans for Hanukkah go askew when a promotion opportunity comes up at work. When the company CEO asks Rebecca and her insufferable office mate, Chris – also her main competitor for the promotion – to plan the company’s Christmas party, she realizes they must overcome their opposing styles in order to succeed. Forced to work together on the holiday party, Chris learns more about Rebecca and her family’s Hanukkah traditions, while she also begins to see him in a new light. Although feelings slowly develop between the two, the ongoing competition over the promotion threatens to undermine it all.”

Plot: “When dance teacher Olivia and business consultant Edward meet, they replace Gertrude’s lost Christmas Club savings with their own money, and soon begin noticing several pay-it-forward acts. But their magical day ends when Olivia learns Edward’s client is buying the dance studio. Luckily Edward finds a storefront perfect for Olivia to start her own studio, and secretly helps her get a loan. Thinking she got it herself, Olivia sees Edward hugging the loan officer, and declares he must believe in her for their relationship to work. 17. Christmas at the Plaza

Plot: “With Christmas approaching in New York City, Jessica, an archival historian enmeshed in a declining romantic relationship, is hired to create an exhibition honoring the history of Christmas at the Plaza Hotel. There, she meets Nick, a handsome decorator who’s been commissioned to deck out the iconic landmark. When they’re paired together to prepare the exhibition, they wind up enjoying a host of holiday traditions together and find themselves falling for each other. 13. Time for You to Come Home for Christmas
Plot: Time for You to Come Home for Christmas is one of the most elusive new films coming to Hallmark this holiday season. It comes from executive producer Blake Shelton as the follow-up film to the country superstar’s Time for Me to Come Home for Christmas which was the 2018 film inspired by Shelton’s life. The sequel will reportedly have a new cast but will have some of the same filming locations according to reports.

12. Hallmark Hall of Fame: A Christmas Love Story
Stars: Kristin Chenoweth, Scott Wolf, Keith Robinson, and Kevin Quinn
Plot: “NYC youth choir director Katherine must write the title song for the Christmas Eve show but becomes distracted when a gifted boy joins her choir unbeknownst to his widowed father, Greg.”

11. Christmas at Dollywood
Stars: Danica McKellar, Niall Matter, and Dolly Parton
Plot: In Christmas at Dollywood, Rachel Lewis (McKellar) is a single mom and award-winning Broadway producer who learns investors have mismanaged her latest theatrical — a holiday extravaganza — into bankruptcy, forcing the show to close before it even opens. Dismayed, Rachel’s friend calls from Tennessee to tell her about an opportunity to produce a show for the 20th anniversary of the Smoky Mountain Christmas Festival at Dollywood. The only caveat? Rachel will have to work with Luke Hakman, Dollywood’s entertainment director who sees the holiday show as a stepping stone to become the park’s new general manager.

Stars: Kellie Martin and Colin Ferguson
Plot: There is no official synopsis for Christmas in Montana just yet. All anyone knows is that it is very clearly based in Montana and stars Hallmark Channel veterans Kellie Martin and Colin Ferguson. Martin is best known for playing Hailey Dean in the network’s Hailey Dean Mystery series. Ferguson is also a Hallmark Movies & Mysteries staple actor. He played Mac Sullivan in the Fixer Upper Mystery series.
Christmas in Montana airs Thursday, December 12 on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries’ “Miracles of Christmas.”
9. Angel Falls: A Novel Holiday
Stars: Jen Lilley and Carlo Marks
Plot: There is no official synopsis for Angel Falls: A Novel Holiday just yet. It seems it will be a sequel to Christmas in Angel Falls which followed an angel who was sent to the town of Angel Falls after the small town had lost its Christmas spirit. While it is a sequel, it features a new cast including Jen Lilley and Carlo Marks.

8. Christmas in Evergreen: Tidings of Joy
Stars: Paul Greene, Maggie Lawson, Barbara Niven, Holly Robinson Peete, Colin Lawrence, Ashley Williams, and Jill Wagner.
Plot: “As the town searches for a rumored Christmas Time Capsule, a skeptical writer arrives in Evergreen to get the story on the town’s ‘too-good-to-be-true’ Christmas-fever.”

7. Holiday Date
Stars: Brittany Bristow and Matt Cohen
Plot: “When Brooke’s boyfriend, Ethan, breaks up with her just before the holidays, she agrees to go home with Joel, an actor who will pose as her boyfriend. She’s built up the ex-boyfriend to be the perfect guy and ‘Mr. Christmas’ but discovers Joel is Jewish and has never celebrated the holiday. What he lacks in experience he makes up for in enthusiasm and happily participates in yuletide festivities. When his secret is revealed, the family is eager to add Joel’s Hanukkah traditions into their holiday celebration but soon become suspicious about his true identity.”

6. Christmas On My Mind/An Unforgettable Christmas
Stars: Ashley Greene, Andrew Walker, and Jackée Harry
Plot: There is no official plot description for Christmas On My Mind just yet. So little information is available about the film that there isn’t even a consensus on its title! While in some places it is listed as Christmas on My Mind and in others as An Unforgettable Christmas, it is certain that the movie will star Twilight actress Ashley Greene and longtime Hallmark veteran Andrew Walker. Fans will recognize Walker from A Dream of Christmas, A Bride for Christmas, Love on Ice, Snowed Inn Christmas and so many more.

5. A Family Christmas Gift
Stars: Holly Robinson Peete, Patti LaBelle, and Dion Johnstone
Plot: There is no official description for A Family Christmas Gift just yet, but what is known is that the film will feature some legends. 21 Jump Street’s Holly Robinson Peete, who is also appearing in A Christmas in Evergreen: Tidings of Joy will be starring in the film alongside Patti LaBelle and Dion Johnstone.

4. It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas
Stars: Eric Malbus
Plot: There is no official description for It’s Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas just yet. Very few stars have even been announced for the film but it has been reported that Eric Malbus will be starring in the film. Mabius played Oliver O’Toole in Hallmark Movies & Mysteries’ Signed, Sealed, Delivered TV series and its 10-plus TV movie sequels. Last year, he also starred in the Hallmark holiday movie Welcome to Christmas.

While she is best known for her role as Julie Taylor on Friday Night Lights, last year she starred in he Hallmark Movies & Mysteries film Once Upon a Christmas Miracle.
