12. Leo’s Staying Put

Actor Greg Rikaart recently revealed more about what his infamous DOOL character, Leo Stark, will be up to in the near future. From the interview, it sounds like Rikaart and Stark will be sticking around Salem for some time. Fans should expect to see Leo causing trouble for most of spring and even the summer months ahead. Stark isn’t the nicest man in the little town, but he sure makes storylines interesting when he’s on canvas, so this is good news!

11. What About “WilSon”?

Actor Chandler Massey, who plays Will Horton, was also recently interviewed by Soap Opera Digest (SOD). Unlike Leo, it seems as if Will’s stint in Salem is a short one, as Massey’s “day job” is as a data visualization specialist for a healthcare analytics company. However, that doesn’t mean Sonny will follow his better half out of town, as actor Zach Tinker has recently been given contract status on the soap. So, could someone (or something) separate “WilSon”?

10. Clyde’s Spring Fling

Actor James Read recently revealed during an interview that he’s happy to be back on the Days set, playing criminal Clyde Weston. According to SOD, Weston’s run this time around will last four to five months. Currently, Clyde’s plotting against EJ DiMera, but there’s another major milestone for him on the horizon: welcoming a new grandchild.

9. Baby On The Way…

Ciara is expecting at the moment, as she and Ben are not only battling the Devil but prepping for baby “Cin’s” arrival. Back in February when Days was pre-empted due to the 2022 Winter Olympics, a preview video hyping the soap’s return focused on Ciara going into labor. Looks as if this could happen in the weeks ahead, either by the end of March or early April.

8. Ciara’s Status In Salem

Actress Victoria Konefal recently revealed that she was offered a contract with DOOL but decided to stay on recurring status with the soap. Just before the global health crisis hit, Konefal left the soap to pursue other acting gigs. As many film and TV projects were at a standstill, due to the virus, she was lured back to the soap and ironed out a 16-week deal.

7. Will Mrs. Weston Leave Town?

With Konefal’s current contract coming to an end very soon, Ciara will likely take a break from the canvas. There’s a good chance she could give birth and then disappear. But fans shouldn’t worry too much, as the actress is still recurring on the show and should pop back to Salem at some point.

Days is known for its over-the-top storylines. While there’s no word on actor Robert Scott Wilson’s (Ben Weston) status with the soap opera, he may end up being a single dad for a little while, without the guidance of Ciara to help with baby “Cin”. Then again, Ciara could always go missing with the baby in tow. Fans will have to wait and see how this storyline plays out.

There are many hints that Sami Brady could storm back into Salem over the spring months. Actress Alison Sweeney hinted some weeks back via an Instagram story that she was back on set. Sweeney is on recurring status with the show, so whether it’s spring or early summer, Sami will indeed be back on the soap at some point!
