12. Goodbye NBC, Hello Peacock!

As most DOOL fans already know, the soap is leaving the network it has been on for over 57 years and will begin being shown exclusively on the Peacock streaming service. The daytime drama’s last episode on the NBC network will be Friday, September 9th, and starts on Peacock, Monday, September 12th.

11. The Big Bang!

There’s sure to be a major cliffhanger on that Friday, September 9th episode to ensure most (if not all) major Days fans make the transition to Peacock. While it is uncertain how DOOL will end things off on cable, there are likely to be some huge, new storyline plot twists to unravel.

10. Bo and Hope Return?

Bo Brady, played by actor Peter Reckell, made a huge comeback during the Beyond Salem series that aired on Peacock this past July. Reckell recently revealed during an interview that his return could be “just the beginning” of an incredible adventure. Peter also noted that Peacock wanted to see the reaction to Bo’s return and gauge how important “Bope” is to storylines. If social media is any indication, there’s a good chance that Bo and Hope could return to Salem once the show makes its transition to Peacock.

9. Edgier Content

Days executive producer Ken Corday recently revealed that while DOOL will be the “same old” Salem once it hits Peacock, the show will have the freedom to “do more” because they are free of the cable network. What does this mean? Well, edgier content and longer shows. For anyone who watched Beyond Salem, this could also mean steamier love scenes, more action and adventure, and interesting language during character face-offs!

8. Abigail’s Passing Continues to Haunt Her Family

Across town, DOOL spoilers for early September note that Abigail’s passing will continue to haunt her family. Added teasers indicate that Jenn will feel especially affected, while Jack makes a very concerning decision. Lastly, Chad will feel overwhelmed by his heartache, not only mourning his wife but dealing with another tragedy, too.

7. Sonny Gets Stabbed

DOOL spoilers for September reveal that Sonny will get stabbed, yet it is unclear if he’ll suffer the same fate as Abby. It’s also unclear who will do the stabbing, although Leo will look VERY guilty in it all. Will Kiriakis pull through? That’s very hard to say at this point, but Chad will certainly be horrified by what his BFF is going through. He’ll likely also feel as if he is the reason both his wife and bestie have been targeted.

Days September spoilers hint that she and Hernandez will have a huge squabble. While there’s no “love lost” between the two, this is how some romances start in soaps.
