Days Our Lives (DOOL) fans are mere “days” away from the return of their favorite soap opera! While the 2022 Winter Olympics have been incredible, viewers are more than ready to see what kind of drama unfolds in Salem. Will there be character returns? Will Sarah, Kayla, Steve and Abigail ever get off the island? As daytime drama audiences just love to speculate on storylines, below are some DOOL post-Olympics plotline predictions for the week of February 21st, 2022.

**12. Days Preview Videos**

Days has been posting preview videos on its YouTube channel since the show went on hiatus in early February. One interesting video has Lucas, Sami and EJ teasing the show’s return. Sami kisses both Lucas and EJ during the spot, which has some fans wondering if Mrs. DiMera will come back to the land of Salem in February. Only time will tell. No date for actress Alison Sweeney’s return has been announced as of yet.

11. Leo Stark Is Craig’s Lover

One character comeback that has been confirmed is Leo Stark, played by actor Greg Rikaart. Turns out scheming little Leo is Craig’s new love interest, the very same man who helped encourage Chloe’s dad to come out of the closet. Craig is likely genuinely in love with Leo, but does Stark feel the same? Is he possibly after Craig’s money or does he have another scheme up his sleeve?

10. “WilSon” Fans Rejoice!

Interestingly enough, Leo isn’t the only character return on the horizon! Days released a preview video on their YouTube channel suggesting that Will Horton and Sonny Kiriakis are coming back to Salem, too. They have revenge on the brain and are looking to nab Leo on something. The video also implies that they’ll recruit Chad DiMera for help.

9. Do They Know Something Fans Don’t?

If Leo is using Craig, do Will and Sonny know the “how” and “why”? It also seems as if both Sonny and Will are recruiting Chad for something that DiMera doesn’t exactly feel comfortable with. Will Chad try to seduce Leo? If so, this may prove that Stark’s feelings for Craig aren’t 100%. This could help prevent Chloe’s dad from supporting Leo or being scammed by him.

8. Saving Abigail

But, before Chad dives into that storyline, it seems he has a small job to do first, which is locating where his wife is and saving her! The good news is that once DOOL returns during the week of February 21st, DiMera will spring into action, and get some help from Tony. It won’t take long before the two brothers are able to find Abigail and bring her back home.

7. But Will Everyone Be Saved?

DOOL spoilers for the week of February 21st imply that Sarah, Steve and Kayla will run into each other, but will Abby find them? Added teasers for the week of February 28th also suggest that “Chabby” will be reunited, too. No word on whether everyone will escape the island, and what exactly will happen to Kristen. There’s a good chance that all the good guys in this scenario will get saved, but will they end up leaving Kristen behind? Could she get lost amid the chaos?

6. Sarah’s Not Sarah

Do any other fans think that the “him” Sarah is referring to isn’t necessarily Xander? Sarah doesn’t seem like Sarah, and Days spoilers hint that she’ll have an odd encounter with Steve and Kayla when they stumble across each other on the island. Could Sarah have alternative memories? Could she believe she’s someone else? Maybe she has short-term amnesia? Could the “him” she’s referring to be Eric Brady, her ex-love?

5. Jack’s Back

Another fun character return to expect when Days hits the airwaves again is Jack Deveraux. From the looks of DOOL spoilers, Jenn will not be coming back with him at this time; however, actor Matthew Ashford will reprise his role. Sounds like Jack will return just in time for Gwen’s newest secret to explode. Rizczech could do away with her sister without blinking an eyelash, but watching her father suffer as he wonders where Abigail is might help her grow a conscience. Will he ever be able to forgive her for this latest stunt?

4. Paulina, Lani and TR Coates

Another interesting DOOL preview video reveals that TR Coates will do all he can to convince both Lani and Paulina that he’s a changed man. Paulina will be very skeptical, and Lani will tread carefully about trusting her “dad”. But has Coates changed? Or is this his attempt to manipulate and control Paulina again? He may be looking to gain her trust so that he can completely ruin her.

3. Jan’s Expecting

Remember back during the holidays when Shawn was seduced by Jan Spears, who looked like Belle for a brief moment (thanks to an assist from the Devil)? Well, a post-Olympics DOOL preview video reveals that Spears will be back in the picture, toting a little baby bump. Is she carrying Shawn’s baby? Could she be carrying a demon spawn? Could this be something that splits up “Shelle” for good?

Speaking of, how creepy is that cross on Ben and Ciara’s entrance? Days knows how to keep the “evil” lurking in Salem. Spoilers note that Julie, Ben and Ciara will start to wonder if the Devil was really driven out of the little town. The good news is: as long as Julie is questioning things, Devil Johnny’s days are numbered. The bad news? This storyline will likely drag on until Easter!

Gabi is somewhat under Devil Johnny’s spell, and when Days returns, Satan will be laser-focused on getting Hernandez into bed. Will he be the one to blow the Devil’s plan out of the water and expose him?
