Days Of Our Lives News Round-Up For The Week (March 7, 2022)

The walls are closing in on Kristen! How long will it be before she gets caught? Will Kate Roberts be okay? Can Tripp and Allie move on from Horton’s lip-lock with Chanel? So many questions in the land of Salem, with so few answers! As such, below are some Days of Our Lives (DOOL) plotline predictions for May 17 to May 28, 2021.

12. How Will Kristen Go Down?

Kristen has Chloe right now, and things may seem chaotic; however, it is only a matter of time before everything catches up to DiMera. She’ll turn to Xander for some help this week, but will he oblige? Sounds like she may bribe him into helping her. Xandy could use some money right now. Without Sarah around, he could cross a line to help her.

11. A Sheep In Wolf’s Clothing

DOOL spoilers state that an assassin will try and ax Sami and Lucas, as the pair tries to convince him to do otherwise. There’s a good chance that DiMera dresses Xander up in an assassin costume to “get rid of” Sami and Lucas. She’ll offer Xandy a substantial amount of money. They won’t be able to see his face, so they won’t know who he is. With that said, Xander will cop-out at the last minute. He won’t be able to do the two harm; he has changed his ways, after all. Xander may even let Lucas and Sami escape.

10. Kristen’s Downfall

How will Kristen go down? Will it be at the hands of Chloe, or someone closer? DOOL spoilers imply that DiMera could become a thorn in Elani’s side this week. Added teasers hint that Kristen will beg Lani to look the other way when a situation arises, but will the new mom do so? It’s a major dilemma. On the one hand, Kristen is Lani’s BFF. Plus, Lani wouldn’t be a mom to her twins right now had DiMera not bitten the bullet and confessed her guilt around Victor’s attack. On the other hand, if Lani learns about all that Kristen has done recently, or she catches her red-handed with Chloe (or hurting Lane), she may not be able to look away and let Kristen escape. Lani might be the one who catches DiMera and “brings her in”.

9. Brady Is Done

Despite all that Kristen’s done, Brady still wanted to protect her last week and suggested that Marlena and John refrain from calling the police. Once Brady sees the entire picture, he will change his tune. There’s a good chance that DiMera gets sent to a facility, instead of prison. After all, her recent behavior suggests she may need a psychiatric evaluation, not more prison time. Brady will make it clear that he doesn’t approve of her recent shenanigans and might break up with her before she’s carried off.

8. Will Kristen Admit To Everything?

With Sami, Lucas, and Chloe alive, they’ll be able to tell Brady what Kristen was up to. Sounds like Kate Roberts will be struggling this week in the hospital; however, he’ll learn about what she did to Kate through Gabi and Jake. With that said, there’s still a missing piece in the form of Sarah Horton. Will DiMera admit that she’s hidden the young lady on an island somewhere? Will Sarah return to the land of Salem soon?

7. Kate Robert’s Condition

It doesn’t sound as if Kate will be doing good this week or next. She’ll survive Kristen’s attack but struggle with recovery. DOOL spoilers hint that Jabi will rush Roberts to the hospital in the coming days, and then have a “deep” conversation this week. The week of May 24th will take Jake for a loop, as he learns about Robert’s condition.

6. Jabi Sacrifices

Although Kate Roberts has two sons in town, plus a granddaughter and an ex who would be more than willing to take care of her, Jake might decide to take on the responsibility of helping Kate with rehab. Her kidnapping, car accident, and DiMera’s attack could leave Roberts in a wheelchair. Gabi will approve of what Jake is doing, and the two may still get together in secret. But they’ll agree to pretend to be apart for Kate’s sake.

5. Tripp and Allie

Fans who have been waiting for these two to connect could get their wish over the next couple of weeks. Romance will be in the air for Tripp and Allie as a preview video not only shows the young man handing her flowers, but the two sharing a kiss as well. Sounds like they’ll get over the lip-lock shared between her and Chanel.

4. Awkward Encounter

But could Chanel cause issues between Elani? Will she start to have eyes for her cousin’s husband? The Days weekly preview video offers insight into a very awkward encounter between Chanel and Eli. The young dad will get out of the shower with just a towel on, and as Chanel creeps into the house, his towel will slip off. Chanel won’t turn away, rather, it seems as if she’ll enjoy the show! Should Lani be worried? Chanel is a troublemaker!

Good news for Ava, but bad news for Nicole. Will the jealousy-bug hit her once again? Sounds like she’ll still be reeling from her one-nighter with Xander.

Sami knows that Nicole and Xander were up to something, and she’s going to dig to find out exactly what happened over the week of May 24th. Days spoilers note that Xandy will threaten her, so it sounds like she may approach him first. She’ll also grill Allie about her “auntie”, but will Horton even have anything to reveal to her mom? Nicole doesn’t want Allie to know what happened and it’s unlikely she’ll confess anything to her. Especially since she’s Eric’s niece.

Jan Spears is going to get nabbed for Charlie’s shooting over the next couple of weeks, but not before a little chaos is unleashed in Salem. Sounds like she’ll confess to Claire about what happened; however, somewhere in the mix, she’ll take not one, but two hostages before all is said and done. There’s a good chance that Claire is one of them. Could Ben be the other? With Ciara filing for divorce, nothing brings two people closer than a dire experience where they feel as if their lives are at stake. Will this draw these two friends closer together?
