The Sarah Horton storyline is about to take an interesting twist, so what’ll happen next? When Ray, Lani’s bio dad, enters Salem this week, will he be in the little town to make amends or cause more drama? Will Tripp propose to Allie? There’s nothing Days of Our Lives (DOOL) fans love to do more than speculate on storylines! As such, below are some DOOL plotline predictions for January 24th to February 4th, 2022.

12. A New Mask Is Introduced…

Most fans took a double-take during Friday’s final moments when Sarah (who viewers believed was Gwen) and Abigail were fighting, only for another Gwen to show up. This new “Gwen” is likely Ava in a new mask, but how did Vitali think so quickly on her feet and create another one in the nick of time? Did Kristen have a Gwen mask in her stash that Ava found? Did Vitali just have one made? This is the land of Salem, so an explanation likely won’t be provided; however, Ava will swing in to save Gwen from Abigail’s wrath.

11. It Was Ava All Along

Perhaps there is no new mask being introduced, and Ava was playing Sarah Horton all along. After all, Gwen did seem jittery doing the deed, so perhaps Vitali decided to help her “friend” out. During this week’s Days preview video, Abigail will discover Ava and a mask, but not before she gets knocked out by a shovel, courtesy of Rizczech. So, what will happen next?

10. Will Chad And Xander Help?

This week’s Days preview video offers a bit of insight into this storyline. Still, when combined with spoilers, it’s hard to say exactly how this storyline will unfold. Abigail will be in trouble this week. Although, on the plus side, the preview video does have Chad and Xander questioning who “would be running around Salem in a mask” impersonating Sarah. In the final moments of the video, Xandy has an epiphany and answers the question, “Gwen”. Will these two men be able to help Abigail in time?

9. Abigail Heads To The Island

The preview video seems to indicate that Xandy and Chad will save the day, but Days spoilers indicate otherwise. First off, Gwen will seemingly cross a line to keep the truth hidden. Plus, added teasers for this coming week note that Abby will be in danger. In fact, it seems as if she’ll be shipped off to the island where Sarah is located. Are the men too late with their realization?

8. The Plot Thickens

Early in the week of January 24th, Xander may question Gwen’s motives (and masking abilities). However, Days spoilers reveal that he’ll be ready to put his feelings for Sarah aside and move on with Gwen by the time the weekend hits. Will Rizczech be able to prove to him that she wasn’t wearing a mask or impersonating his ex-fiancé? Will she have an alibi, or is Xander pretending to go along with Gwen in an effort to learn the real truth?

7. Kristen Lands On The Island

DOOL spoilers for the week of January 31st imply that Abigail will have to deal with Kristen. Sounds as if DiMera will land on the island that week (or sooner), looking to take care of some business. This is likely the same island that Sarah Horton is on, and possibly other prisoners as well. Could a missing Salemite from the past also be on the island? Who knows?

6. Steve’s Alive

Kristen told Kayla that Steve was shot and killed, but is that the truth? If Ms. DiMera is headed for her island to take stock of things, could she bring Steve along for the ride? Maybe she hasn’t hurt Johnson after all. Although, considering how evil Kristen is, and all the damage she’s done, why hasn’t she just offed Steve (and Sarah) so there are no witnesses?

5. A Team Will Form

If Abigail, Steve and Sarah are all on the island together, there’s a good chance they’ll find each other. They may be stored in the same “prison” or in separate ones that are close to each other. If one of them manages to escape, they’ll find the other two and release them. It’ll take some time but eventually, a team will form. And together, Abigail, her Uncle Steve and cousin Sarah will organize a way to leave the island.

4. Is Ray Reformed?

Days spoilers for the week of January 24th state that Ray, Lani’s bio dad and Paulina’s evil ex, will arrive in Salem. From what the teasers imply, Paulina will realize this first and try to keep Ray’s arrival hidden from her daughter. Sadly, Lani will learn that her bio dad is in town. But is he a reformed man now, after all these years? Is there a chance he’s changed for the better?

3. He’ll Pretend

Ray will likely “act” as if he’s a changed man. Lani will put up her walls at first, but he will be persistent. She’ll make it clear this week that she has no interest in getting to know her bio dad because he was so toxic to Paulina during their younger years. Sounds like both mother and daughter will be apprehensive about establishing a relationship (or reconnecting) with Ray from the get-go, but he’ll “pretend” that he’s changed.

2. Does Tripp Propose?

DOOL spoilers for the week of January 31st suggest that a “lovestruck” Tripp will present some future plans to Roman. With Lucas out of town, could he approach Allie’s grandpa for his blessing before Tripp proposes to her? Mr. Brady will likely give his okay. Will Tripp prepare a romantic Valentine’s Day proposal?

1. EJ’s Sentencing

DOOL spoilers for this coming week hint that EJ will hit the courtroom with Belle to hear what his sentencing is. Could someone swing in for the save at the umpteenth hour? Considering how preoccupied Chad will be with Abigail’s potential disappearance, plus the fact that Lucas likely won’t grow a conscience, EJ might be headed to Statesville. The judge may also want to make an example of him since he is a DiMera.
