13. Sami Returns To Support Allie

No air date has been released as of yet, but Days spoilers in fall indicated that actress Alison Sweeney will reprise her Sami Brady role by the end of 2020. With only two weeks left in the year, Sami should return any day now. Days spoilers indicate that Allie will share some hard news with her mom this coming week. This could be about Tripp and what happened in London. Could this bring Sami back to Salem?

12. She’s Already In Salem …

Then there’s the idea that Sami is in Salem when Allie tells her about Henry’s conception and her assault in London. Will is set to return to the little town this week, so perhaps he brings his mother in tow? Could Allie tell her mom all that over the phone? Should DOOL fans gear up for a Sami comeback this Christmas week?

11. Gabi Returns

If Will is back, wouldn’t Gabi return, too? After all, didn’t she go to Arizona to visit WilSon and Ari? How will Gabi’s return affect Kate and Jake? Perhaps if Gabi returns, she could also put two-and-two together about what Gwen is up to. Either way, if Will is back, Gabi and Ari may not be far behind.

10. Joey’s Plans For The Future

Joey will relay some plans he has for the future to his parents this week. This could go two ways. Either it’s something that sends him back out of Salem, or something that keeps him in the little town. If it is the latter, could Joey decide to be a police officer or a private investigator like his dad? If he goes out of town, could Johnson work for the ISA, like Steve once did?

9. Ava’s Fate

Will anyone notice that Ava’s gone missing this week? Tripp definitely will! Maybe even Steve will raise an eyebrow. Then again, Philip will realize something is wrong when he can’t reach his partner in crime. Charlie will keep Ava hostage over the holidays, and may even *almost* get caught by Claire before New Year’s Eve. He won’t hurt Ava; however, he will keep her locked up and bound up. He may try to hurt her but will stop. He won’t be able to inflict pain on his mother.

8. Steve Tells Kayla His Theory

Steve’s will have a theory on Christmas day, and it could center around Ava and her disappearance. Days spoilers tease that Kayla may not even want to hear about it, and his Sweetness may feel happy that Vitali has disappeared, hoping it’ll be forever. Joey’s out of prison, and in Kayla’s world, this is all that matters. But Steve may believe that Ava’s been kidnapped and if it affects Tripp, he will want to get to the bottom of it all.

7. Charlie Meets Allie

It’s a tradition most Days fans look forward to each year, as the Horton family will gather on the Wednesday, December 23rd episode to trim their Christmas tree. Claire and Allie should both be there, but will Claire bring Charlie? Will Charlie meet Allie? If he’s the one that sexually assaulted her, will anything click for Allie when she meets him? Or will the two keep “missing” each other at the tree-trimming party?

6. Elani Reunion

All holiday spoilers this season hint at an Elani reunion. Doug and Julie will help push this along before Christmas hits, and once Lani goes into labor, she’ll want Eli to be in the delivery room, and he’ll desperately want to be by her side. By the time New Year’s Eve hits, they’ll be trying to confirm names for the babies so sounds like they’ll be together for the end of 2020. The two new parents may be asleep by 8, but they’ll be together!

5. Eric’s Coming Back?

DOOL spoilers hint that Nicole will have a secret this holiday season and also spend some time with someone special as Christmas day approaches. Could Eric be on his way back to Salem? Or could Nicole sneak out of town with Holly to be with him for a week or two?

4. Gwen Schemes

Gwen will scheme hard the next couple of weeks, trying to cast doubt about Jack to Jenn, and working to not only seduce Chad, but also convince him that Abby and Jake are having an affair. She won’t get away with her plot to ruin J&J, but she may convince Chad of a romp between Christmas and New Year’s Eve, one that he’ll regret almost immediately after they are done.

3. J&J’s Rollercoaster Reunion

Jenn’s just found out that Jack is not the man who’s been with Kate at the Salem Inn, but that won’t stop her from still thinking Kate and Jack are still a thing. In her mind, she knows that they aren’t, but Gwen will continue to manipulate the situation. The good news is that they will eventually reunite; the bad news is that it’ll be a rollercoaster of ups and downs along the way.

2. One Step Forward, Two Steps Back

Jenn will be ready to put 2020 behind her (aren’t we all …) and move forward with all that 2021 can bring. In fact, it seems as if she’ll be open to forgiving Jack between Christmas and New Year’s. Sadly, some major news will surface on New Year’s Eve which will place doubt in Jenn’s mind. DOOL spoilers tease an unexpected revelation that is shared with Horton by her daughter Abby. This will set the J&J reunion back a tad.

1. Kate Confides

Thankfully, whatever doubts are in Jenn’s mind, Kate puts them to rest. Kate will tell Jennifer the truth about her affair with Jake, not Jack, and put Jenn’s mind at ease. This all should go down either right before the clock strikes midnight, or right after, so J&J fans need to gear up for a reunion.
