Days Of Our Lives News Round-Up For The Week (March 7, 2022)

Will Dr. Rolf’s plan succeed in bringing Jake back to life? What’ll happen to Gabi and Ava’s plan if Jake returns? Will there be any resolution around Abigail’s passing? How will Nicole react when she sees Eric on a date with Jada? There is nothing Days of Our Lives (DOOL) fans love more than speculating on storylines. As such, below are some DOOL plotline predictions for August 1st to 12th, 2022.

13. Will Dr. Rolf’s Plan Succeed?

Dr. Rolf’s plan will likely succeed to some degree, but there has to be a plot twist to it all. There’s a small chance that Jake will come back to life as he was, and all will be fine. However, there’s also a good chance that something will go wrong along the way, and there will be a slight change in Jake that no one is expecting.

12. Jake Alive, But With Someone Else’s Memories

Since the two are twins, could Dr. Rolf bring back Jake, but with Stefan’s memories? Or, even better, what if Rolf implants Stefano’s memory in Jake’s brain to bring him back to life? Then, he’d really be his father’s son at that point! Jake DiMera is the least like the rest of the DiMera bunch, so placing a family member’s memory in his brain could create chaos. People would definitely take notice that Jake isn’t the same as he used to be.

11. What Happens To Ava and Gabi’s Plan?

Jake will come back to life, but he won’t be “Jake”. His personality will be slightly altered, and he may even have a highly manipulative side to him. When the “new and improved” Jake returns, he’ll blow Ava and Gabi’s deceitful plan to take over DiMera Enterprises out of the water. Furthermore, he’ll turn his back on Vitali for using his passing to make gains at the company — even though Gabi was mostly behind it all.

10. Will There Be Sparks Between Gabi and The “New” Jake?

Do any other fans miss “Jabi”? There will certainly be a ton of conflict between Jake and Gabi when he re-enters the picture. Jake coming back to life will ruin her plans, and he’ll also be upset with her “using” his passing to gain power at DiMera Enterprises. With that said, a conflict between two people in the land of daytime drama can also create sparks, so perhaps all of this can eventually bring Jake and Gabi back together.

9. Besties For The Resties!

One interesting thing that could unfold is Jake becoming close to Kristen. He’s never bonded with any other DiMera family member, and the fact that she’ll be there when he “wakes up” will bring this brother and sister duo closer. With that said, he may also become a pawn in her game. Will these two become besties? Absolutely!

8. How Are Li and Dr. Rolf Connected?

DOOL spoilers over the next two weeks suggest that a connection between Dr. Rolf and Li Shin will soon be revealed. How could these two be linked? Could they be family (i.e. Rolf is a distant uncle or cousin of Shin’s)? Perhaps they are friends who once worked on a project for DiMera Enterprises together. Maybe Li’s father or mother are old friends of Rolf’s?

7. Will Xander and Sarah Learn The Truth?

Sarah will be hypnotized this week by Marlena, but it won’t be as successful as Lucas’s session. DOOL spoilers imply that Ms. Horton will have a ton of questions, so she and Xandy will decide to team up and investigate things together. It seems as if their “digging” will revolve around Gwen. Could they find out about her one-night jailbreak? Do any other fans out there think that Rizczech could be the one who stabbed Abigail while donning a “Sarah” mask? In doing so, Gwen would’ve killed two birds with one stone: ax Abigail while implicating Sarah.

Will Hernandez realize that Nicole is still in love with Eric? Will she realize it? And finally, will Rafe confront her about this?

Paulina has learned the hard way that secrets and lying do not mix well with family relationships. Can Johnny convince her otherwise, or will he simply ask her for some help to “woo” Chanel back to him, without manipulating anyone?

The DNA test results will arrive during the week of August 1st. And while Orpheus claims that Evans is the father of baby Shawn, could DOOL fans see a plot twist happen? Some spoilers state that Shawn will have a hard time and turn to Belle, while Evan is in for a huge stunner in the days ahead. Could Shawn end up being the dad, after all? Maybe both men aren’t the father of the baby! There may be a plot twist in this storyline when all is said and done.

1. “Shelle” Reunites For Baby Shawn

There’s no doubt about it: “Shelle” will reunite in the weeks ahead, especially if Shawn isn’t the father. Shawn bonded with the little one, and it won’t take much for Belle to fall in love, too.
