9. Joey’s New Beginning

DOOL spoilers for the week of December 21st tease new beginnings for Joey Johnson, as he celebrates the first holiday outside of prison with his family. He’ll also look forward to a new chapter in his life. What’s on the horizon for Joey? In other related news, Steve will have a new theory that he’ll want to share with Kayla.

8. Character Returns

DOOL spoilers hint that the holiday character returns will keep coming next week! According to a preview video, Will Horton will come back to Salem to celebrate Christmas with loved ones, and while actress Victoria Konefal will be seen onscreen next week, it’ll be as a ghost with a special message for Ben. Valerie Grant will also return, as Vanessa Williams reprises the role.

7. Dire Warnings

DOOL spoilers suggest that some characters returning for the holidays may have a dire message to pass on to loved ones. Could this be Ciara’s message to Ben? Or perhaps this has to do with Tony and Anna DiMera. While they are returning in the coming days, they may not be able to relay any messages until the week of December 21st.

6. Families Gather

DOOL spoilers indicate a ton of family gatherings as the Kiriakis’s come together to celebrate Christmas. Across town, the Horton Clan will also gather to do their traditional “tree-trim” party, and the DiMeras will organize a family holiday celebration over at the mansion. Meanwhile, added spoilers indicate that Nicole will have someone special to enjoy the holidays with this year, which might help her forget about the fact that Eric is not in town.

5. Nicole’s Secret

DOOL spoilers reveal that Nicole will have a secret the week of December 21st. Added teasers imply that she’ll tell it to Allie; however, there are question marks around how Horton will react. What’s Nicole’s secret and does it have to do with Allie, Tripp, or even potentially Eric? Could Eric return to Salem for the holidays?

4. Gwen’s Scheming

Despite it being the holidays, DOOL spoilers reveal that Gwen still will be looking to stir up drama the week of December 21st. In fact, it seems as if she’ll target the DiMera family’s festive celebrations. It’s clear that Gwen’s focus at this point is Chad, so will he take the bait and essentially ruin Christmas for Abby and his family?

3. Claire’s World

DOOL spoilers indicate that Claire will give something special to Ben from Ciara. Wonder how Charlie will feel about that? Days fans know he’s Tripp’s brother now, and also happened to be London while Allie was there and during her assault. He may start to let his inner bad guy show. He’s not too thrilled that Claire and Ben are friends.

2. Baby Time

DOOL spoilers state that Lani will go into labor on Christmas Eve. While her family will be by her side, will she allow Eli to be there when the twins are born? If Kristen is out of prison, even just for Christmas day, then Lani may soften up to her hubby and his past mistakes.

DOOL spoilers also hint that there may be complications during Lani’s delivery. She may want Eli there if this is the case. She may need him there. Lani may place her past issues with him aside so that she can lean on him. If one or both babies are at risk, she’ll need all the support she can get.
