Days Of Our Lives‘ has revealed that Chandler Massey will be returning to the show as Will Horton just in time for the holidays!
Days Of Our Lives shared an action-packed winter promo teaser which showed Allie saying, “Merry Christmas, Will.” The moment teased a comeback many fans were hoping for — the return of the beloved Chandler Massey back to Salem.
Massey spoke with Soaps.com earlier in the summer ahead of his exit from Days of Our Lives and admitted he was upset leaving the show “because I’m gonna miss the people there. And it’ll always be my family.” He added that he would be open to returning to the show, sharing that “the door is never closed entirely.”
The role of Will Horton on Days Of Our Lives has had quite an interesting history. Chandler played the role in 2010 but was recast with Guy Wilson in 2013. The character of Will was subsequently killed off in 2015, then the character was later resurrected with Massey back in the role two years later.
