Will the Devil make Marlena do the unthinkable to Doug? Will anyone start to notice “she’s changed” in the next couple of weeks? Will Johnny’s film continue to build steam? What about his love life with Chanel? Days of Our Lives (DOOL) fans love speculating on storylines! As such, below are some DOOL plotline predictions for September 27th to October 8th, 2021.

12. Will Marlena Do The Unthinkable?

The Devil will target Doug. After all, Williams is technically the only one who’s in-the-know about him. Yet the spirit won’t completely ax the iconic character. He may try and smother him with a pillow or tamper with hospital equipment this week; however, someone will always come in for the save. Doug’s going nowhere!

11. Will Anyone Suspect?

No one will suspect a thing about Marlena’s odd behavior over the next two weeks. John’s worried about Johnny’s film and is bound to be very preoccupied with that. Therefore, he’ll fluff off any suspicions about Marlena (or anything of that nature). If he does bring it up, “Darlena” may say all this movie talk has brought on “bad” memories.

10. Johnny Makes Some Moves

Over the next two weeks, Johnny will be very preoccupied with his movie… and Chanel! First off, now that he’s decided to center the flick around his grandmother’s possession, his focus will change. Sounds like John won’t help fund him if that is the case, but he may also do all he can to stop his grandson. Plus, it sounds like Johnny may also approach Abigail to play Marlena.

9. Abigail Says Yes

Chad won’t necessarily have objections to Abby being in Johnny’s movie, but he’ll likely believe that it’s not something his wife would be interested in. Abigail is set to make a huge announcement during the week of October 4th, and there’s a good chance that she says yes to the movie role.

8. Chanel and Johnny

Johnny will be riding a high wave and Chanel is sure to be impressed by him — not only because of his ambition and creativity but also because of his efforts around romancing her. Johnny is set to “woo” Chanel this coming week, and from DOOL fall preview videos, it looks as if he’ll serenade her in the square. Chanel’s about to fall for Johnny in a big way.

7. John and Marlena Fight Over Johnny’s Movie

Back to Marlena and John: once “Darlena” figures out the center of the plot for Johnny’s movie, the evil one may be giddy at the drama that could arise. He’ll also be happy to be in the spotlight. John will be vehemently against it all, while Marlena will support the idea. Sounds like the couple could fight over this in the coming weeks, as the Devil aims to help Johnny (both financially and emotionally) while John refuses.

Ciara will not only encourage Ben, but she may also let him know that together, they’d make great parents.

Sure, Ben’s genes might be messed up a bit, but he and Jordan also didn’t have loving parents. Ciara will encourage Ben to see that the environment he grew up in was the cause of some issues. Plus, despite his environment, he changed his life around. Once he sees her point of view, he’ll agree that it’s time to grow their family. Fans should brace themselves for some steamy scenes ahead between Ciara and Ben as they “practice” for Baby Weston.

4. Paulina Asks Lani To Be Her Matron Of Honor

Days spoilers for the week of October 4th tease that Paulina could ask Lani to be her matron of honor. The DOOL fall preview video also hints at this. Sounds like the entire thing will rub Chanel the wrong way, which is sure to add some conflict into the mix. Marlena knows Paulina’s secret, but how will the Devil use this information to cause chaos in Salem?

3. Will Philip Ask Chloe To Marry Him?

Philip will organize another romantic gesture for Chloe this week. Will he propose to Lane? He’s working overtime to prove he’s changed, and even “trying” (a bit) with Brady. If he does ask Chloe for her hand in marriage, she’ll likely say yes. In the coming weeks, Mr. Black will work hard to convince Lane that marrying Philip is a bad idea. But will she listen?

2. Philip and Ava Versus Jake and Gabi

Days spoilers indicate that Philip will be scheming with Ava to try and bring Jake and Gabi down. Philip’s conspiring would be frowned upon by Chloe, so this will add another element to this storyline. Not only will Philip and Ava be scheming, but he’ll do everything he can to keep their little partnership under wraps. It’ll be quite the juggling act.
