As Days of Our Lives (DOOL) progresses into October, fans can’t help but speculate on what will happen next. What’s the Devil up to now? What will happen with Johnny’s movie? What about Nicole and Rafe? As such, below are some DOOL plotline predictions for October 11th to October 22nd, 2021.

12. What Does The Devil Want?

The Devil wants Marlena’s body and soul, this is very clear. However, it seems as if he wants Ciara and Ben to try and have a baby together. Sounds like he’ll try to compromise the situation by planting a seed of his own. The Devil is about to reveal his “plan” to Marlena in the coming days, and she’ll be horrified. Does he want to produce a child of his own through Ciara and Ben?

11. How Will He Do It?

The Devil could compromise Ben’s body to accomplish this. He might also “knock” Ciara and Ben out while he tries to plant his evil seed into Mrs. Weston. That might be the plan, but will the evil one accomplish this goal over the next two weeks, or be stopped somehow?

10. He’ll Try, He’ll Fail

The Devil is probably going to tell Marlena his plan, and then “try” to proceed with it. It sounds very unlikely that he will harm Ciara anytime soon. Every time he moves in to try and implant Ciara, something will stop him: either God’s will, someone praying him away, or a Salemite interrupting the whole thing by pure coincidence.

9. Will Anyone Start To Notice?

Days spoilers reveal that it’ll get harder for the Devil to hide over the next two weeks. John knows something is up with Marlena and is brushing it off as stress connected to Johnny’s movie. With Halloween nearing, Black will probably be “in the dark” about Evans’ possession as October 31st approaches. The storyline will likely explode after the spooky holiday.

8. Some Days History

During the original possession storyline, circa 1995, the arc was only supposed to last until December. Sadly, it dragged on until Easter of the following year. This time around, John’s likely to not “see” what’s going on until around Halloween or early November. A Christmas miracle will probably help save Marlena, Ciara and Ben, plus the rest of Salem.

7. Johnny’s Movie

As desperate as John is to stop Johnny’s movie, it’ll continue to go on as planned. Black will approach Roman this week to ask him to withdraw his funding, but it’s unlikely that Mr. Brady will go against his grandson to appease John. He may even fluff off any ideas that Black has about the film upsetting Marlena or encouraging the evil one.

6. The Chad Factor

Does it matter if Roman were to back out on his funding? After all, Johnny’s secured some DiMera cash for the project. Could John convince Chad to withdraw his money from the film? It may be a hard sell since his wife is in the lead role, and the entire thing is upsetting his big brother. Investing in Johnny’s project is a massive win-win situation for Chad.

5. EJ Retaliates

DOOL spoilers for the week of October 18th hint that EJ will blindside Chad and Abigail. How will DiMera retaliate on his brother for the film-funding betrayal? Could he figure out a way to oust Chad from the co-CEO role at DiMera? Will he decide to throw “Chabby” and their children out of the mansion altogether?

4. Rafe Admits He’s Jealous

Speaking of EJ, Rafe will admit he’s jealous this week. He’ll approach Nicole and tell her that every time he sees her and DiMera together, he gets a case of the jellies. Will this change things between Walker and Hernandez? Will this “change” things between Rafe and Ava? Likely not. However, the animosity between EJ and Hernandez will heat up. DiMera sure is racking up the enemies!

Did anyone else pick up on Xander talking about taking Gwen to a secluded island last week? Could this be a hint that someone will finally put two-and-two together about Sarah Horton in the next couple of weeks? DOOL spoilers for the week of October 18th note that Steve will “step up” his investigation around Kristen. Could Johnson’s super-sleuthing lead him to a secluded island? Is Kristen hiding out with Sara?

2. Chloe and Philip Are Hanging On By A Thread

Will fans see Philip and Chloe break up? DOOL spoilers for this week suggest that Kiriakis will find Chloe and Brady in a compromising position (again). As the week of October 18th hits, Lane’s frustrations over Black and Philip’s bickering will escalate. Will Chloe feel like it’s better to end things between her and Kiriakis for the sake of their “family”, and the two getting along?

Philip and Ava versus Jake and Gabi will hit its peak this week as Jake warns Philip about the mob and its dangers. Meanwhile, Ava and Gabi will fight, too. Could these four slowly start to become friends as they fight off a common enemy?
