Days Of Our Lives News Round-Up For The Week (March 7, 2022)

It’s been less than a week since Days of Our Lives (DOOL) fans were taken back by Abigail’s murder. As Salem still reels from the events that took place last week, will new evidence come to light? As Sami storms into Salem, will she and Lucas get closer, or will he reveal a truth that could break them apart? Will Abe and Paulina finally tie the knot? There’s nothing better than speculating on storylines! As such, below are some DOOL plotline predictions for June 20 to July 1, 2022.

12. Who Murdered Abby?

More details will surface about Abigail’s murder over the next two weeks. Whether it be through the investigation or something brought to the attention of fans through storylines. Currently, the three main suspects are Lucas, Leo, and Gwen; however, two to three more Salemites will be roped in this plot.

11. New Suspect #1 – Clyde Weston

Two characters that will likely be pulled in as suspects (whether in the eyes of viewers or Salem’s PD) are Clyde and Sarah. Clyde’s a shady character as it is, but he’s also set to form a partnership with Leo in the next two weeks. He’s also gunning after EJ, so perhaps he stabbed Abigail as a way to send the DiMera Family a message.

10. New Suspect #2 – Sarah Horton

Sarah as a suspect is already in the back of many fans’ minds. She started hallucinating right before Abigail’s passing, and over the next two weeks, she’ll continue to act “strange”. Not only will she attack Nicole this week, but she’ll pull a knife on Chanel the week of June 27^th; the very instrument used to murder her cousin. Major red flags everywhere with that move, but is Horton really behind Abby’s passing?

9. Early Prediction

Abigail’s murder likely won’t be resolved for months. While the three main suspects for fans right now are Leo, Lucas, and Gwen, with these types of murder storylines the least likely person anyone would have guessed is usually the person behind it all. With that said, one can’t shake the fact that Tripp left town rather abruptly, despite the fact that his cousin got brutally murdered. Why would he not at the very least stay until after the funeral? Plus, actor Lucas Adams and Tripp will be seen this summer on Peacock’s Chapter 2 of Beyond Salem. Will the spin-off series intertwine with current storylines?

8. Will Lucas Tell Sami The Truth?

This week’s Days preview video shows Lucas telling Sami he wants to marry her again, as he also attempts to confess something to her. Will he tell her the truth about her kidnapping and possible involvement in Abigail’s murder? He can’t say he didn’t do it because he simply can’t remember. He will probably propose to Sami, and she’ll say yes, but Lucas will get stopped before he can say anything about the kidnapping or getting drunk the night Abby was stabbed. With these two possibly getting married, nothing will come out until the wedding approaches.

7. Sami Sees EJ-Bel Together

DOOL spoilers for the week of June 27^th hint that Sami will catch her ex getting steamy with her sister! Fans could feel this day coming, but what will Sami’s reaction be? Will she freak out like she did when she caught him in bed with Nicole? As she’s moving on with Lucas, she likely will be stunned by what she sees but she may do something unexpected like laugh it off, or calmly tell EJ and Belle about her upcoming nuptials and wish the two all the best.

6. EJ-Bel Won’t Solidify Things

Abigail’s passing stopped these two from crossing a line the first time, and it sounds as if Sami’s interruption may halt things a second time. EJ and Belle do have massive chemistry and sparks, but their relationship is moving forward way too fast. Looks like they probably won’t do the deed anytime soon, but fans will be on the edge of their seats waiting to see when it does happen.

5. Shawn & Jan … Kiss?

From the looks of DOOL spoilers over the next two weeks, a baby will certainly bond Jan and Shawn. Teasers note that Ciara will be concerned that her brother is growing too close to his baby momma, but with all that he’s going through, he may not listen. As the week of June 27^th hits, Chloe and Brady will see Spears and Shawn kiss. Sounds like the emotional toll of having a baby, plus Belle leaving him, will have an effect on him.

4. Abe & Paulina’s Wedding Drama

Abe and Paulina are set to get married this week, as they decide to celebrate Juneteenth by getting hitched. With that said, Days spoilers hint that something will come to light that could stop the happy couple from saying their “I do’s”. Added teasers also imply that Lani’s guilt will reach a tipping point. Will the truth about TR’s shooting be exposed before Carver and Price can become husband and wife?

On the one hand, it looks like some drama will pop up that could jeopardize the Abe-Paulina wedding, but it’s like it won’t be the secret that Lani and her mom are hiding. Days spoilers indicate that Julie will do some “damage control” to ensure the couple is wed. If the truth about the shooting is exposed, Williams would have to do a lot more than a little damage control. The drama will probably center around something small, and the couple will hurdle over it to say their “I do’s”.

Across town, Days spoilers for this week reveal that Allie and Johnny will have a fight over Chanel, where Ms. Dupree will feel caught in the middle. Will Chanel ultimately decide against choosing either twin? She may abandon the idea of a romance with either Allie or Johnny as whichever one she chooses will cause a family conflict between them. She loves them both, and she won’t want to be the reason behind these two siblings “hating” each other in the end. Family always should come first.

DOOL spoilers for the week of June 27^th suggest that Ciara and Ben’s lives are about to change when they get a special gift from Hope. Will Hope gift the happy couple a houseboat that resembles the one that she and Bo lived on, and traveled the world with? Could it be the very same houseboat she and Bo had? Could Cin’s new chapter mirror one that Bope had with Shawn-Douglas?
