12. Steve Secretly Pines For Kayla

As fans have witnessed recently, Steve has finalized realized that he really does want to be with Kayla, and the two are simply made for each other. Sadly, DOOL spoilers indicate that just as he’s ready to tell her how he feels, her boyfriend Justin will pop the marriage question … right in front of Johnson. Seems as if Steve will secretly be pining away for his Sweetness in the coming weeks, as Kayla and Justin plan for their big day.

11. Thugs Think Gabi Is Gwen

Across town, DOOL spoilers hint that Jake will tell Ben and Ciara that Gabi has been kidnapped. Could the goons after Jake believe that Gabi is his ex-girlfriend Gwen? Could they decide to kidnap her to get back at Jake and further antagonize the situation? What will Jake, Ciara, and Ben end up doing?

Could Ciara, Ben, and Jake find a way to ensure that Gwen is released?

9. Claire’s A Free Woman

Whether or not Gwen is released, Claire will find herself a free woman very soon. While parents Shawn and Belle Brady will return to help their daughter’s transition from mental health facility into the real world, in the long run, Marlena will be the one who is responsible for Claire. With that said, has Claire Bear truly learned the error of her ways, or will she put on a façade so that she can re-enter society?

DOOL spoilers indicate that upon release from Bayview, Claire will secretly anticipate the Cin wedding. There is a very good chance that Claire will have a plan up her sleeve to ruin the day for both Ben and Ciara. For the next few weeks, she could be concocting a scheme that will see something major go down during the Cin wedding, which is set for some time this July.

7. Gwen & Claire Reunite “Outside”

Getting back to Gwen, if she’s released, and Claire’s released, could these two new BFFs reunite in Salem? Could Gwen be a part of Claire’s plan to ruin Cin’s wedding? Will she even like Ciara and Ben? Will she have animosity towards Jake? Seems as if there is a good chance that Gwen won’t be too fond of Jake’s new friends, and will have no issue helping Claire out when it comes to causing a little chaos on the “outside.”

6. David’s Custody Hearing

David’s custody hearing will continue as planned despite all the havoc created by Orpheus in recent weeks. Zoey won’t be pinned around helping her dad at all, and she’ll pursue her case against Rafe. Zoey’s lawyer, and she knows all the ins and outs of the law, so there is a good chance that she could gain custody of her nephew, leaving Rafe upset with the hand he’s been dealt with.

5. Sarah & Brady Turn It All Up A Notch

According to DOOL spoilers, Sarah will lash out on Victor this week, as she lets him have it when it comes to the baby switch fiasco. Xander will also plead for a second chance, which may only confirm to Sarah that she has the upper hand in this situation. Brady and Sarah will turn their plan up a notch, and watch the people that did them wrong suffer the consequences.

4. Feelings Sprout Up

Brady and Sarah are bound to start feeling something for each other. All this scheming and “pretending” will eventually turn into a bona fide romance, but in the next two weeks, as tensions rise and stakes increase, a slight and subtle tease of feelings will begin to sprout up between the two. A cool new Salem super couple is in the making.

DOOL spoilers indicate that actor Bryan Dattilo will reprise his Lucas Horton role the week of June, and will approach Kate with some unpleasant information. Lucas may have some disturbing news around a fallout with his daughter while a bigger storyline develops.

Could the next step around all this become Nicole faking that she’s expecting (to deflect Allie)? Could the couple eventually decide to secretly “adopt” Allie’s baby?

They could start with the idea of wanting to expand their family, and go through the brainstorming of how to achieve this, adoptions versus surrogacy.
