As Halloween approaches, things will get a little spooky in the land of Salem! A blackout will leave residents shaken (and some threatened). Meanwhile, Philip and Xander’s war will rage on, and Kayla and Steve will leave Tripp in the dark. 9. Salem’s Blackout!

According to DOOL spoilers, Salem residents will be left in the dark this week when the little town experiences a blackout! Seems as if the lights will go out everywhere, and this will have a profound effect on pretty much every character within the show – one way or another.

8. The Prisoners Have Escaped

This “blackout” will most likely affect the prison nearby, as DOOL spoilers imply that Clyde, Orpheus, and Dr. Rolf will be running around town soon after the lights go out. In fact, Orpheus and Clyde will come together to form a partnership of sorts. They’ll have their sights set on causing chaos in Salem, and the Black family could be a target.

7. John and Belle Worry

DOOL spoilers suggest that Belle will visit her father (after the blackout), who seems worried about Marlena’s whereabouts. Meanwhile added teasers state that Marlena will get a phone call that causes her some concern. It’s hard not to see that Orpheus could be behind this all. There’s a good chance he may go after Evans in his never-ending plight for revenge.

6. Two Salemites Threatened

Some cryptic DOOL spoilers this week, as teasers indicate that Chad and Belle discover unwanted houseguests when they return home, with one of them that has some murderous intentions. In other related news, there could be an explosion that occurs next week, as added spoilers are promising a “boom” that goes off in the dark.

5. Jan Spears and Dr. Rolf

As per the above DOOL spoilers, Belle will find Jan in her home while Chad gets a visit from Dr. Rolf. Which of our beloved heroes is at risk? Hard to say. All arrows point to Jan because of her past and history with Belle; however, there is nothing Days loves more than a good old-fashioned plot twist, so Dr. Rolf could decide axing Chad is the way to go.

Across town, DOOL spoilers hint that the Xander versus Philip feud will continue to rage on the week of October 19th with no end in sight. With that said, expect some interesting twists and turns along the way in the next couple of days. This storyline is changing, and new elements will be added into the equation.

Xander was the one that switched Rachel for Mackenzie, which escalated all the events that followed with Kristen and Victor. He may be looking to stick it to Xander.
