General Hospital News Round-Up For The Week (May 16, 2022)

Will Nina ever learn the truth? Will Wiley’s true paternity ever be revealed? Will Franco regain his memories? Will the CarSon baby be okay? These are all some interesting questions that will hopefully be revealed in the land of General Hospital (GH) this month. As such, below are some GH plot predictions for October 2019.

12. Nina Stumbles On The Truth

Most GH fans will agree, this storyline has to finish up already! It’s been far too long that Nina has been left in the dark, and at this point, viewers might feel that Sasha parading around as Nina’s daughter has been dragged on long enough. Here’s hoping that Nina stumbles on the truth in the coming weeks. With Michael in the know, there’s a good chance she could overhear the couple talking about it, at some point.

11. The Truth About Willow

GH has been teasing that Willow may be Nina’s long-lost daughter for a while now, so perhaps Nina doesn’t overhear anything about the Sasha secret, rather the truth comes to fruition via something that happens to Willow. Perhaps Harmony drops a bomb of sorts, or Willow has a health crisis that only Nina can help out with, revealing a genetic link.

10. Nelle Tries To Steal Wiley

October GH spoilers indicate that Nelle and Joss will have a confrontation at some point in Port Charles, so with Nelle out on the loose, she may very well find Wiley and try to steal him back. Benson is a momma bear, and she could believe that the only safe place for him is with her.

9. The Truth Comes Out About Wiley

If Nelle kidnaps Wiley and goes out on the road with him, it will only be a matter of time before she and the child are found, and where the truth comes out. Besides, much like the Nina-Sasha-Valentin storyline, the truth around Wiley’s bio parents needs to be revealed already. It’s dragged on for too long.

8. CarSon Baby Doesn’t Live

It is a horrible thought; however, with some of the medical issues Carly and Sonny’s baby has, there might be a chance that a plot twist occurs where their infant passes on. GH spoilers indicate the baby will cause massive problems in their relationship, and if something like this happens, it could send CarSon over the end.

7. Dev Becomes A Thorn In Their Relationship

Struggling with an infant who has health issues, and then potentially losing a child (again) is something difficult for a couple to deal with. When Morgan passed away, CarSon cracked incredibly. If Dev plays a small role in their baby’s passing (i.e. doing something accidentally, or distracting Carly/Sonny before they can get to their child), things could get ugly for CarSon. Sonny has insisted on keeping the teen around, and if anything happens to Baby CarSon and Dev is at the helm, this could cause the super couple to end things for good.

6. Joss and Dev

There are sparks between these two teens, and they will only grow that much closer come October. While she’s still grieving for Oscar, she may also be falling for Dev. In fact, if something happens between CarSon and Dev, Josslyn may feel like she’s in the middle, watching her parents split up because of someone she’s interested in, while also developing massive feelings for him. If this rolls out, it should be interesting how all the dynamics change between Joss, Carly, Sonny, and Dev.

5. Jax Finds Out The Truth About Dev

He’s been digging hard, so it’s not difficult to see that Jax may find out the truth about Dev in October. GH spoilers for the month reveal that someone finds out that he’s not part of the Corinthos clan, as originally stated, so maybe Jax’s digging ends up with some answers. Or, Hayden overhears something and goes running to Jax.

4. Dante Passes Away

With Olivia consistently saying that Dante will come back, and being upset about Lulu moving on with Dustin, perhaps this storyline will take a twist. Lulu is trying to cope with Dante’s decision about divorce and seems to be doing well by dating; however, what if word comes back that Dante has passed away while he’s away? This may only cause further conflict between Olivia and Lulu, not to mention the fact that Lulu may build up a wall around herself in grief (and guilt).

3. Dranco Stays In The Dark

While Liz is pushing the idea of a procedure for Franco to erase his memories of Drew, the entire thing is very risky. Kim seems happy to keep Dranco as is; she’s delusional to think that a relationship with him is a good idea. Regardless, this storyline is too good right now for Franco to regain his own memories, so something will probably happen to keep him as “Drew.”

2. Kim Is Expecting

If Kim winds up expecting a child, it may not mean that the baby is Dranco’s, but it will be reason enough for Liz to reconsider Franco’s procedure. It also might cause Dranco and Kim to get that much closer because they could be having another Oscar, which will mean a second chance for “Drew” to raise a child.

1. Liz Asks For A Divorce

If Kim ends up expecting a child, it may be enough for Liz to give up on Franco all together, and back off on the procedure. It could be the end for Friz (for now), and fans shouldn’t be alarmed if Liz files for divorce or separates from Franco. She may just decide to move on, versus trying to get her husband back from a hopeless situation.
