A Days Of Our Lives (DOOL) holiday movie is coming to Peacock-streaming homes everywhere, according to Soap Opera Digest!
The news was announced at an event in Malibu, CA last night, with Eileen Davidson (who portrays Kristen DiMera) on hand for the big reveal.
The film, entitled Days Of Our Lives: A Very Salem Christmas, will follow Will Horton as he tries to complete his screenplay before a Christmas Eve deadline. Chandler Massey will star in the movie, reprising his Daytime Emmy award-winning role.
“Using everyone’s favorite feel-good holiday movie tropes, [Will] creates a festive story based on his family and friends in Salem — but with several twists and turns you’ll never see coming,” a synopsis for the film states.

While no other cast members have been confirmed as of yet, the statement also promises that viewers will see “some very familiar faces”. There has been speculation that Greg Rikaart (who plays Leo Stark) has recently been spotted on the set.
Davidson’s participation is also questionable, since the event she appeared at was also promoting The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip. The actress is an alumni of that reality show.
DOOL’s first-ever holiday movie follows the summer release of Days Of Our Lives: Beyond Salem, which was a five-part miniseries also exclusive to NBC’s streaming service.
A Very Salem Christmas will begin streaming on December 16th, exclusively on Peacock.
