General Hospital News Round-Up For The Week (May 16, 2022)

Will Lulu be okay? How about Franco? What will Julian do now that Sonny knows the truth? What will Sonny decide to do about Julian (and Cyrus)? So many questions left unanswered after last week’s blowout shows! As such, below are some General Hospital (GH) plotline predictions for November 30 to December 11, 2020.

12. The Fate of Lulu Spencer

GH spoilers hint that Dante and Laura won’t see eye-to-eye on something. With Lulu in a dire circumstance, there’s a good chance that one of them will believe it is time to pull the plug on Lulu, while another will want to give it time. Perhaps she’ll need to go into a facility, and the two will argue where that should be.

11. Luke Returns

Whether Lulu remains in a coma or something else happens, there’s a good chance that GH fans may be privy to a Luke Spencer return. How can he not? His daughter is in a coma and could be facing worse. He may want to come back to the land of Port Chuckles to be by her side.

10. He Comes Back With Tracy

Actress Jane Elliot is set to reprise her infamous Tracy Quartermaine role, so could Luke return with her? They have spent time outside of Port Charles together, so the idea isn’t too far fetched. If Lulu ends up passing away, he may return and stay at the Quartermaine mansion with Tracy and the two could eventually leave town together. Tracy’s GH run this time around should be a short one like last year.

9. Franco’s Condition

Elizabeth is set to meet with Martin this week, as the lawyer gives her some documentation. Could Franco pass on in the coming days? Could his recovery not go as planned? Or worse, could he do something dramatic because the surgery has caused the “old Franco” to re-emerge? There’s a chance that Franco could exit the soap in the coming days.

8. Julian’s Situation

Speaking of exiting the soap, Julian is in a bad spot right now. Not only has Sonny learned the entire truth around his involvement with Wiley’s switch at birth, but with Lulu in the hospital and all the destruction from the Floating Rib incident, his go-to for support, Ava, isn’t too pleased with him. Will he head out of town quietly, or will someone stop him?

7. Sonny Decides To Pull The Plug On Jerome

It’s been rumored for a while now that actor William deVry is on his way out at GH, and while slipping out of town would be an easy exit, life for Julian Jerome has never been “easy.” His final scene could be with Sonny Corinthos finally gaining “revenge” by shooting Julian, ending Jerome’s story in Port Charles, once and for all.

Martin will get an unexpected visitor this week, so could Cyrus Renault turn to him for legal help? While Sonny does want to take him down, it seems like he and Jason will focus on Julian this week; however, once Jerome is taken care of, Renault will be the next target. Could Cyrus believe that Martin could help handle his legal affairs? He doesn’t have many lawyer options in Port Charles right now.

5. Maxie Wants To Rush Things

Across town, Lulu’s situation may create an epiphany of sorts for Maxie. GH spoilers for the week of December 7th imply she’ll be looking forward to starting her future with Peter, and she may feel like “waiting” is a bad idea. Life is full of unknowns, and you should be with the one you love at all costs; this was advice Maxie gave Lulu before she collapsed. Seems as if Peter and Maxie will be getting hitched a lot sooner than originally intended.

4. Michael and Willow Decide On Their Future

A GH preview video for this week has Sasha up and awake, as Brando offers up some advice, so it seems as if she’ll be okay. Willow and Michael are also set to talk about their future. With what they learned about recently, could Willow and Michael decide to go their separate ways? This would complicate things further, as they do have feelings for each other. Plus, there’s Wiley to think of.

3. Sasha’s Self-Sabotage

GH spoilers for the week of December 7th imply that Brando will try and get through to Sasha about something, and this might have to do with her drug abuse. Will Sasha and Brando become a thing? Will Michael try and help Sasha, but also worry about Wiley’s safety when it comes to her substance abuse problems? Will Sasha refuse treatment, thus shutting Michael out, forcing him to choose Willow in the end?
