Will Sonny continue to ignore taking his bipolar medication? As everyone gathers to say goodbye to Luke this week, could Mr. Spencer still be alive? Has Victor put two and two together about Maxie, Bailey and BLQ? General Hospital (GH) fans love speculating on storylines! As such, below are some GH plotline predictions for January 17th to 28th, 2022.

12. Sonny Will Start To Spiral

There’s a good chance Sonny will refrain from taking his medication over the next two weeks. GH spoilers reveal that Dante will be worried about his dad over the coming days. Sonny will likely grow increasingly agitated with family members and friends. Without Jason around, everyone will chalk it up to stress around Carly leaving him.

11. Could Nina See The Real Reason?

Sonny snapping at everyone will alienate him from his family. Carly’s already annoyed with him, as is Michael; so neither will see exactly what is happening with him and the reason for his mood swings. However, there’s a good chance that Nina will notice. If she figures out why Sonny’s acting the way he is and approaches him about it, this could further their bond in Port Charles.

In terms of the next couple of weeks, Drew and Carly will continue to “run into” each other and Cain will provide comfort and support for Mrs. Corinthos as she navigates through these difficult times.

This week, Port Charles residents will gather at the Haunted Star for a special occasion. Seems as if this is where Luke Spencer’s memorial will take place. With that said, GH spoilers indicate that Tracy will be caught off guard on the day this all happens. Could Luke be alive? What if he arrives at his own memorial to stun everyone? Then, there’s the idea that she’ll receive a message or some sort of indication that the love of her life is actually alive!

GH spoilers for the week of January 24th state that Victor will discover something that might play into his larger plan. This may have to do with Bailey. After all, added teasers hint that Maxie will try to cover her tracks that week, too. What if she’s approached by Victor about Louise? Jones will do everything she can to backtrack and create more lies to protect her child — especially from Victor.

5. Spinning A Story

Then again, with Felicia poking around to locate her granddaughter, Maxie’s mom might try to convince her daughter and Austin to head back to the location of Louise’s birth. In her mind, returning to the scene might “spark” up their memory. She brought this up last week. Will Jones try to figure out a lie (on the spot) to stop this from happening? Regardless, with Felicia poking around and Victor looking for a way to get back at BLQ for Valentin, the baby lie may end up surfacing by the end of this month, just in time for February sweeps!

4. Victor Pokes Valentin

GH spoilers also suggest that Victor will be suspicious of Valentin during the week of January 24th. If Papa Cassadine figures out the truth about Louise and presents it to his son as a means of revenge against BLQ, Valentin may decide against using the baby and Maxie for this. He may realize that Brook Lynn (and Jones) lied about Bailey’s identity to protect the child from Peter August. This could cause Victor to question Valentin’s loyalty.

3. The Anna Devane Factor

There’s also a chance that Victor is suspicious of Valentin because of his son’s connection to Anna Devane, who, not too long ago, was looking to nab the older Cassadine and haul him to jail. Valentin and Anna are going to talk about “where they stand” this coming week. If they decide to plunge into a bonafide romance, this could create tension between him and his bio dad. Victor’s “deal” with the WSB made him a free man, but he may believe that Devane is still looking to bring him down. He may also believe that she’s using a relationship with Valentin to solicit his help.

The Port Charles teen scene will finally (and officially) make it to Sonny’s cabin during the week of January 24th. GH spoilers indicate that Esme will stir the pot, and it looks as if she wants to cause chaos for the friend group. Cameron will be her target, so what kind of issues is she looking to create? Will she try to turn Cam against Trina, or his own girlfriend?
