General Hospital: Plotline Predictions For May 2020

May Sweeps is just around the corner, and with all the drama and excitement that goes on with this, it’s hard for soap opera fans to refrain from guessing about “what will happen next” this coming month. Will Sonny be okay if something happens to Mike? Can Brando and Molly continue to hide their dirty little secret? What will happen with Alexis and Neil? Time to start speculating! Below are some General Hospital (GH) plotline predictions for May 2020.

12. Brando and Molly’s Secret Is Out

According to GH spoilers, Molly will spill the beans to Sam and Kristina about her one-night stand. While she may continue to keep this secret from TJ in May, Kristina, and Sam in the know will cause a ton of friction within the sisters and the family. What Molly is doing, and how she’s involved her sisters, is just not right.

11. Molly Ends Up Expecting

By month’s end, it may not be shocking if Molly ends up expecting a baby. A one-night stand has a way of coming back to haunt people, and being with child will just add some drama to the entire storyline – especially if Molly continues to keep the affair a secret. It may also create a conflict for Molly: should she keep her baby and reveal the truth to TJ, or do the opposite and terminate, so she can continue to lie about her one-night stand? What will she choose?

10. Brando and Kristina

While Kristina may know that Brando had a fling with Molly, her sister clearly is in love with TJ, so that may not stop her from pursuing a relationship with Brando if sparks fly! This could complicate things if Molly ends up expecting (and keeps the baby). This could also complicate things between the sisters if Molly stays with TJ, but still has lingering feelings for Brando.

9. Josslyn Moves Forward

GH spoilers hint that Josslyn will be ready to move forward with her life come May. Teasers seem to imply that she’ll be ready to dive into some romance; however, the person she wants to pursue may already be taken. The teen scene in Port Chuckles is rather slim, so this could have to do with either Cam or Dev unless someone new enters the picture.

8. Trina Is The Factor

The Port Charles teen scene also involves Trina. While Trina and Cam gave a relationship a go, GH spoilers seem to suggest that they’ll be starting “fresh” and soon. Does this mean they give romance another try, or perhaps start a clean slate as friends? If Cam and Trina move forward with a romance, this could mean that Joss may start to have major feelings for Cam, and things could get awkward.

7. What If It’s Dev?

On the other hand, there has always been a certain spark between Joss and Dev. Could Trina and Dev feel some chemistry in May? They’ve always just been friends, but that could always change. Perhaps Josslyn decides she’s ready to really pursue things with Dev, only to find out he’s with Trina now.

6. Should Jordan Be Worried?

Speaking of Trina, Curtis will grow very protective of Portia and Trina in May, as the two become a point of interest for Cyrus. Curtis has gotten quite close to the mother and daughter duo recently, so should Jordan be worried about his concern? He’s probably just being a good person, and realizes how dangerous Cyrus is.

5. Has Holly Really Passed?

GH spoilers tease some conflict between Anna and Laura, where Robert will feel like he’s stuck between a rock and a hard place. In fact, this will all unravel as more information around Holly’s passing comes to light. Could it be that either Holly hasn’t really passed and is simply missing? Could Laura believe that Peter is behind it all? That would cause Anna to react, for sure.

4. Wedding Is OFF

GH spoilers reveal that Finn and Anna will struggle when it comes to wedding plans. Anyone who has had to organize such an event knows the entire process can be daunting. With that said, this is the land of soap operas, and sometimes weddings can go off within a week! Still, it seems as if teasers are hinting that Finn and Anna may not get married anytime soon because of delays in planning. Could something happen where they decide to cancel it altogether?

3. Sonny & Mike

GH spoilers indicate that Sonny will have a hard decision in front of him come May, and it concerns Mike. Interestingly enough, Sonny’s family won’t agree with the choice Sonny makes regarding his dad. Could it be that Mike’s condition will enable him to require a feeding tube? The idea that he may be refusing food is a controversial one, so it’ll be interesting on how GH handles the storyline, if this is the case.

2. Alexis and Neil

According to GH spoilers, Alexis may have to face the consequences around lying under oath, not to mention her exposed relationship with Neil. Teasers seem to hint that the couple will finally be able to be together, but will trashing both of their careers be worth it? Seems like the entire gloss of a romance with Neil may lose its shine once Alexis loses so much (and vice versa).
