While fans of General Hospital (GH) anxiously await new episodes that are hopefully on the horizon soon, these walks down Port Charles’ memory lane have been an interesting watch. 9. Theme Week

Time to take a closer look at the highs and lows of Sonny and his kids, specifically the adult ones. The episodes between June 29th and July 3rd will focus on Sonny as a father, and how he’s handled issues with Dante, Michael, Kristina, and Morgan (plus, a special guest appearance by Avery).

8. Timelines

Next week, GH fans will be privy to more recent episodes of the soap opera, as original shows date back to only 2010 to 2016. It’ll be a nice dive into the past for Sonny and the Corinthos kids, and fans of Morgan will once again get to see him this week, albeit, during a harder time in his life.

7. Storylines Covered

From shootings to therapy, as well as mental health issues, some of the greatest storylines in GH have revolved around the Corinthos clan. It’s not easy parenting adult children, but Sonny has always done it with style and ease (and a little frustration). He’s made plenty of mistakes along the way, but also has done plenty of good.

6. Sneak Peek To The Following Week

It seems like more of the same for the week of July 6th, as GH spoilers reveal even more rebroadcasted episodes that focus on storylines around Sonny and his children. The following week, fans will watch shows that feature Michael and his relationship with Sonny, plus the struggles they’ve endured over the years, as well as an episode that centers around Kristina.

5. Sonny Vs. Dante

Remember that awkward time when Sonny shot Dante before he realized that Falconeri was his illegitimate son? Relive the magic on Monday, as GH rewinds to a show originally aired on January 29, 2010! Sonny will end up shooting “Dominic,” (who he thinks is an undercover cop) not realizing he’s his bio dad. Ah, the guilt that would follow ensue after the fact!

4. Sonny Helps Kristina

Fast forward some months in 2010, and fans will hit a moment in time where Sonny worked hard to help his daughter Kristina with some domestic abuse issues she faced while in a relationship. On Tuesday’s episode, Sonny attends therapy with Kristina, and both gain a ton of perspective to move forward.

3. Morgan Vs. Sonny

It’s Michael’s turn to sit in the hot seat when GH re-airs a show from 2014! While he is not Sonny’s biological son, he is his son in every other sense of the word. Wednesday’s show turns ugly when Michael aims a gun at Sonny for retribution around what he did to his bio dad, A.J. Quartermaine. Spoiler alert: Sonny ends up okay when all is said and done.

2. Michael Tries To Bring His Dad Down

There was once a time where Michael and Sonny didn’t see eye-to-eye. In fact, Michael considered his adoptive dad an enemy in a lot of ways, and he looked to bring him down. Originally airing on June 29, 2015, while his little sister Avery was in his custody at the time, Michael decides to give her back to Sonny.

1. Morgan Struggles

Morgan was going through a horrible time in 2016, leading up to his passing, and Friday’s show will focus on a rerun episode from February 26th of that year. As Morgan attempts to jump off the roof of the hospital, Sonny will get to him in time to stop him. It’s a powerful show that fans won’t want to miss.
