9. Classic Episodes

Last week was all about the Corinthos kids and Sonny as a father, and this week it seems to be more of the same! The classic shows will still focus on the struggles Sonny has had with trying to parent his adult children; however, it still should be pretty entertaining to watch that will allow fans to reminisce.

8. Storylines

The classic episodes for the week of July 6th will focus primarily on Michael for the first half, and then some things that Sonny and Kristina have gone through in the past. From bullets flying to confessions, prison stints, hospital visits and more, Sonny and his kids have been through a lot, and this week highlights just that.

7. Through the Years

The GH rewind episodes this week will go as far back as 2008, and as recent as 2016. While Sonny hasn’t changed all that much over the years, well he has aged a tad (gracefully), Michael and Kristina have also certainly grown and matured significantly over the past 10 years plus.

6. Faces of The Past

Some old familiar faces of the past will pop back up on daytime screens this week, from Jax’s brother Jerry to Claudia and Johnny Zacchara to Kate Howard Helena Cassadine Brenda Barrett Dante and others. One of the best parts of these classic rebroadcasted episodes is seeing gone and (almost) forgotten characters of GH’s past that most fans miss.

5. Jerry Jax Wants Revenge

Remember that time that Jerry Jax was bent on getting back at Sonny and ordered a hit on him? Except, instead of shooting Sonny, the gunman ended up getting Michael! Revisit the original episode that aired on April 4, 2008, and launched a storyline that saw Michael in a coma for about year!

4. Michael Stuns a Courtroom

Fast forward two years and Michael is fine, fully immersed in all the Port Charles drama once again! On a show that originally aired on May 4, 2010, Michael will stun a courtroom when he admits that he was involved in Claudia Zacchara’s demise. As much as that was unexpected, what would follow would be way over-the-top!

3. Michael Is Sentence to Prison

Originally airing on September 30, 2010, Michael will be sentenced to prison, much to the dismay of his parents, family, and friends! It’s all because of his role in Claudia Zacchara’s passing, and what would unfold in prison would change Michael and his character for many years to come. The only silver lining was that he did have Jason in there with him for a little while…

2. Kristina Is in the Hospital

While Kristina and Sonny have had a tumultuous relationship in the past, they have gotten to a better place now. Revisit an episode that originally aired on January 6, 2011, where Corinthos visits his daughter in the hospital after she suffered from hypothermia due to a bus crash. Spoiler alert: she ends up okay!

1. Sonny and Kristina Have a Heart-to-Heart

Things could have gotten a tad awkward when Sonny caught Kristina kissing Parker; however, a nice talk where Sonny acknowledged what he saw and how he supported his daughter smoothed things over very well. Fans can revisit the July 25, 2016 episode where Sonny and Kristina have a heart-to-heart about her bisexuality.
