How will Brooke’s suspicions weigh on Quinn, Carter and Ridge? Will Zoe come to her senses and see that Quinn is the other woman? Also, how will Hope and Thomas react when Liam is inevitably arrested? We have no shortage of spicy storylines to discuss, so let’s look ahead with our plotline predictions for May 10 through 21.

12. Brooke Is Emboldened

B&B spoilers indicate that Brooke Logan will be emboldened by her suspicions over the next two weeks. She’s already made her position against Quinn clear to Flo, and now she’ll take her accusations to work. Added teasers say she’ll wonder aloud where Quinn has disappeared to, and ask the same of Carter, in a way that will spread suspicion. The chance to take her rival down a few pegs is too tantalizing. Unfortunately, Carter will be at risk of Brooke’s scrutiny as well.

11. Suspicion Spreads

Brooke won’t be the only person around Forrester Creations who’s following her intuition that something is up — Paris is also getting suspicious. Ever the good sister, she has warned Zoe not to trust Quinn as the messenger who might reunite the Forrester model and COO. But so far, Zoe is convinced that Quinn is looking out for her. The younger Buckingham will also begin to notice that something is amiss about Carter, and in the coming weeks she’ll convince her sister that he’s moved on.

10. Ridge In The Cross-Fire

Brooke’s mission to reveal Quinn’s true nature will continue to rub Carter the wrong way. He’s already defended Quinn to Logan, and will do so again in the weeks to come. As a result, Ridge will be put in a tough spot. Carter is not only a close friend, but also a business partner. Even though he can sense a change in his friend, Ridge will want to keep the peace as Brooke looks for proof of Quinn’s treachery.

9. An Accidental Romance?

Shauna has been Quinn’s confidant throughout this secret, and she’s even offered to pretend she’s dating Carter to help Quinn maintain both her marriage to Eric and the affair. Still, she’s also becoming a confidant to Eric, who has acknowledged how easy Shauna is to speak with. There’s no telling what might happen if Shauna’s fictional romance with Carter (as proposed) turns out to be less satisfying than a real romance with Eric!

8. BF, but without the other F?

This possibility might not be so terrible for Quinn. Sure, the idea of Shauna with her husband would take some time to process, but pragmatically, it solves a lot of unresolved feelings. If Shauna shares with Quinn what Eric confided — that he couldn’t foresee himself trusting his wife again — then maybe it’ll help Fuller move confidently forward with Carter. Unfortunately, this scenario would likely close the book on Quinn and Shauna’s friendship.

7. Hope Catches On

Although Hope has definitely taken the high road to mend her marriage with Liam, the cracks in her resolve will begin to show. B&B spoilers indicate that Hope will become aware that he’s not being truthful again. Given her pedigree when it comes to his deceit — I mean, she could have a doctorate in Liam’s lying — perhaps old doubts will rise again. One thing’s for sure: this time she won’t be so forgiving.

This strategy could create a tug-of-war between Hope and Dollar Bill, with rag-doll Liam in the middle!

5. The Coroner’s Report

As many fans suspected, the coroner’s report will conclude that Vinny’s fatal injury occurred before the lab tech collided with Bill’s car. This discovery will broaden the investigation significantly and convince Baker to invite Detective Sanchez back into the fold. One wonders if a fresh pair of eyes might see something that Baker has missed.

4. Liam Will Be Arrested

It seems likely that the coroner’s report will clear Liam, but that doesn’t mean he won’t be arrested! If he avoids charges directly related to Vinny’s passing, he’ll still be charged with a laundry list of other crimes, including hit-and-run, leaving the scene of a crime and obstructing justice. Will this arrest happen at the cabin, and possibly in front of his family?

3. Vinny’s Last Words

If anything can save Liam from facing serious jail-time, it’s playing a pivotal role in helping the investigation. Liam will have to confront some horrific memories from that night, specifically when he recognized the body on the road. What were the last words that Vinny whispered before Liam went into shock? If Liam can conjure up that repressed memory, he might be able to help solve the case and lessen his charges.

2. Hope and Liam Will Be Finished

When it comes to The Waffler, he operates best when acting in self-preservation mode. Whether or not he spills the beans to Chief Deputy Baker and Detective Sanchez, it won’t vindicate him in Hope’s eyes. When Hope finds out that Liam’s distress was not rooted in his remorse for cheating on her, as he explained it, but yet another secret, she will leave him for certain. Not only is Liam a terrible partner, but he’s an awful role model for their children.

Scandalized by Liam’s secret, Hope will turn to Thomas for support. She’ll take solace in his promise to be a friend and his long-held instincts that Liam was no good for her. Will the prospect of winning back Hope be enough to quench Thomas’s desire for revenge? And will Hope try to dissuade the Forrester from acting on it? Keep watching B&B to find out!
