Finn will be stretched to his limits as he tries to show his loyalty to Steffy, Jack and Sheila, coming up on The Bold And The Beautiful (B&B). Sheila will realize that Steffy has to be taken out of play, while Ridge will investigate Jack. Also, is Eric playing a game while knowingly breaking up Quarter? We’re looking beyond the spoilers with B&B plotline predictions for August 23rd through September 3rd, 2021!

12. Eric Is Playing Games

Did anyone else find it odd that Eric asked Carter to hang Quinn’s portrait for him? It seemed like Eric was playing macho head games with the Forrester COO. Eric then commended Carter’s good judgment and told he and Quinn, “You both have proven your loyalty and commitment to me”. Um, what?! Viewers still don’t understand what made Eric have this change of heart. Is he playing a game with these two, or is he truly that oblivious? I’m trusting B&B writers that it’s the former option!

11. Quinn Can’t Move On

Carter is willing to accept his losses, knowing that Quinn and Eric will be happy together again. There’s just one problem: Quinn isn’t happy at all! Not only had she claimed to be finished grovelling for Eric’s attention, but she just professed her love for Carter. Will their separation “for the greater good” just stoke more memories for these two while apart? You bet!

10. Will Paris and Finn Become a Thing?

One person Quinn won’t be happy to see back at the Forrester Creations office is Paris. That should be awkward! Moving on to Ms. Buckingham… Was it a red herring that Paris and Finn were each wearing half an outfit during last week’s episodes? It seemed odd that Paris was wearing an oversized men’s dress shirt as a nightie and Finn’s unbuttoned shirt was one gust from blowing clean off. Are viewers being misled to think that these two could end up getting too comfortable around each other?

9. Paris Gets Protective

If either of these two are likely to misread the situation, it’ll be Paris. Nothing brings two soaps characters closer together than a secret, and Paris will enjoy her newfound intimacy with Finn. If he becomes disenchanted with the way Steffy and co. treat his birth mother, we can expect Paris to back Finn all the way… maybe even “all the way” out of the cliff house!

8. Zende Will Catch On

Up until now, it’s been hard to guess whether Zende has been very supportive or very indifferent about his girlfriend living with the Forresters. Over the coming weeks, viewers will find out that his support is genuine but also limited. When Paris becomes more and more distant, Zende will get proactive and try to salvage their relationship. Will he also get mixed up in some dysfunction at the cliff house?

7. Jack Is Looking Out For Himself

Now that viewers are aware that Jack had an affair with Sheila and is Finn’s biological father, we’ll see that Jack’s priority is looking out for numero uno. When he realizes that Sheila’s blackmail doesn’t expire after a single use, he’ll have to decide whether to jeopardize his marriage with Li, or risk the wellbeing of his son’s family. Judging from his first morality test, we have reason to believe that Jack will become a pawn in Sheila’s unfolding scheme.

6. Ridge Will Investigate Jack

Finn and the Forresters have all seemingly forgiven Jack for withholding the truth about Sheila’s maternity… everyone except Ridge, that is. He bristled when Steffy told Jack that he didn’t ruin their wedding day. After Ridge finds out that Jack was present during Sheila’s visit to the cliff house, he’ll investigate the Finnegans. Will he utilize the resources of Justin Barber and kick-start that alliance?

5. Pick Your Father Figure Wisely

Finn will continue to cover for his father, unaware that Ridge is zeroing in on Jack’s past. But when Jack’s promise — that Sheila will leave town after meeting Hayes — falls through, will Finn continue trusting Jack’s word, or confide in his new father-in-law, Ridge?

4. Steffy’s Fury

When Steffy cuts short her business trip and arrives home to see Sheila holding baby Hayes, with Finn and Jack standing by, she’ll unleash her fury. She’ll eject Sheila from the cliff house and accuse Finn of betraying her. She’ll also have to double-down on her vow to keep Sheila away from her family, even if that means banning Jack as well. Finn will be torn between his blood relations, his adopted family and his new bride.

3. Sheila Carter Will Not Leave Town…

It isn’t much of a prediction to say that Sheila Carter will abandon her promise to leave town. It pretty much goes without saying that she’s in this for the long haul. But after reconciliation attempts and “I’ve changed” speeches fall on deaf ears, Sheila will have to get creative if she plans on winning her son and grandson. So how will she even the playing field?

2. But Steffy Might!

The best way to score time with Finn and Hayes is to get rid of Steffy. Will Sheila work to marginalize Finn’s new bride, or take her out of the equation altogether? Could Sheila plan to kidnap Kelly? That would push Steffy and Liam closer as they look for their daughter, and might even alienate Finn further from the Forresters. Perhaps Sheila will enlist some of her other grown children to lead Steffy on a witch-hunt out of state, while Sheila makes sure she has a very public alibi.

1. Who Wants A Murder Mystery?

There has been tantalizing speculation that the murder mystery B&B producers hyped up months ago was not the Vinny Walker case — which, as it turned out, contained zero murders — but rather one that is about to happen! Viewers have even speculated that Sheila will be the one murdered, which would certainly result in an exhausting suspect list! Knowing how well Sheila can fake her own death, viewers could get the cake (a quality murder mystery) and the icing (Sheila being alive and nabbing Hayes).
