12. Diane’s Back… Now What?

In case any fan didn’t watch this past week’s episodes, Diane Jenkins has officially returned and is diving into the Y&R drama, fast and furious. Spoilers note that she’s likely behind Jack’s odd and mysterious text messages and will be a part of the Allie/Keemo storyline, moving forward. Added teasers indicate that “Taylor Jensen” isn’t a twin or sibling of Diane’s; rather, she’s the “real deal”.

11. Pulling The Strings On A Bond

Y&R spoilers for spring hint that Diane will be a major part of what pushes Allie and Jack’s bond. She’ll reveal herself to Abbott soon and added teasers for the coming weeks hint that he’ll have a ton of questions. Presently, there are no answer around how she escaped being axed by Nikki Newman in 2011, so fans will have to wait and see how the writers “spin” this one.

10. Chaos Erupts

Y&R spoilers also indicate that once Diane returns, she’ll bring chaos along with her. Plus, added teasers note she’ll have a slew of bombshells to drop in Genoa City. How will people react when they realize that Diane is alive? She’s been connected to so many others in the little town, both on a negative and positive note, so it’ll be interesting to see how this all plays out.

9. Kyle Has Mixed Emotions

Kyle will likely have plenty of mixed emotions. After all, his mom had him believing that she was gone, and he was still quite young when she “passed away”. With that said, Kyle is sure to return to Genoa City to see his mom for himself. With him, Summer and little Harrison will probably come, too.

8. “Skyle” Returns…

According to reports, Y&R was looking to recast the Summer Newman character back in February. With Diane’s return, plus viewers seeing Kyle via video chat recently, it’s hard not to think that the soap is setting fans up for a Skyle return. Actor Michael Mealor just signed a long-term contract to return as Kyle, but there’s no word yet on who will play Summer.

7. Phyllis and Jack’s Reunion Jeopardized

Could Diane come between Phyllis and Jack? If she’s close to Allie, and Mr. Abbott is desperate to establish a bond with his granddaughter, then it’s a possibility. Phyllis and Diane never got along, so the fact that she’s back in the picture (and somehow linked to Jack’s current family drama) means there’s a good chance she could place a wedge between Abbott and his Red.

6. Will Michael Return?

Michael is MIA right now, somewhere in Peru, but how long will this last? Actor Christian LeBlanc recently posted a picture of himself along with actor Robert Newman (Ashland Locke), and it looked as if they were on the Y&R set. This is a very good indication that Baldwin will return to the land of Genoa City, sometime in the spring.

5. Ashland Will Still Be In The Picture

Christian LeBlanc’s Insta post also adds speculation to Ashland Locke’s future in Genoa City. While the truth around his illness is currently being exposed, and as such, most fans are assuming his run on the show may be nearing its end, this may not be the case. The show films several weeks ahead of time, so the Locke-Ness will stick around over the spring months.

4. Victoria Sees The Light

As fans witnessed this week, Vic finally believes her family over Ashland, and the truth around all his lies have finally surfaced. With Vicky seeing the light, Y&R spoilers tease there will be enhanced conflict and confrontation where Ashland is concerned. Victoria will want a separation; however, things are bound to get sticky when it comes to finances and Newman-Locke.

3. Don’t Worry About Kevin…

Actor Greg Rikaart is currently enjoying a stint on both Y&R and Days of Our Lives. In a recent interview with Soap Opera Digest to talk about his Days role, Rikaart also let Y&R fans know that Kevin Fisher will continue to do his thing in Genoa City. Sounds like Rikaart will simply pull “double duty”, as some daytime drama actors do. This is great news for viewers of both soap operas!

2. Allie + Noah = True Love

Back to Allie, Y&R spoilers have confirmed that Allie will end up being a love interest for Noah Newman. Once the dust settles (a tad) from her arrival, fans should expect to see scenes between these two. They’ll likely start things off by running into each other in-and-around Genoa City. Noah was once Jack’s stepson, so the dynamics between him, Allie and Abbott will be interesting.

1. Nate Enters The Business World

This past week, Lily and Devon invited their cousin Nate to join them in the corporate world as they decided to merge Chancellor Industries with Hamilton-Winters Group. He seemed against the idea; however, actor Sean Dominic (Nate) recently chimed in on the idea during an interview with Soap Central. He noted that “if” Hastings joined the corporate world, he’d take over! He also advised fans to “see what happens” over the “next few weeks”! Here’s hoping the good doctor takes the plunge. He could use a career shake-up!
