It is speculated that Evans is really broke because of legal bills. Estimated Net Worth: $50 Thousand. Leah Messer has one of the higher net worths of all the Teen Mom stars, but that is very surprising given her situation. At 16, Leah got pregnant with twins after only one month of dating her boyfriend Corey Simms. The two welcomed twin daughters, one of which has a rare medical condition, and got married, but the marriage didn’t work out. Leah then married Jeremy Calvert who she had another daughter with and could no longer work as a mom to three. Messer also makes around $75,000 per season and receives child support from both Corey and Jeremy now that they too have split, and while her net worth sits around $50,000, it has most likely gone up with reports that their salaries have increased. With three children, as well as legal and medical bills, Leah has also begun working on a career and thought about returning to school to help provide additional income for her three girls.

5. Chelsea Houska

Estimated Net Worth: $60 Thousand. Chelsea Houska is one of the most well put together of all of the Teen Mom stars, due in large part to the support from her parents. Her dad Randy is relied on heavily and as a dentist was able to help Chelsea financially after she had her daughter Aubree. In early seasons, Chelsea was adamant that her dad did not pay for her things and she worked a stable job as an aesthetician and owns her own house in South Dakota, and it has been stated many times that Aubree’s dad Adam is pretty far behind on child support. Now, she has the double income from not only her Teen Mom 2 salary, but her husband Cole DeBoer also works a steady job for the state of South Dakota. Chelsea also makes a reported $75,000 per season and $20,000 in bonuses, and is doing quite well with an estimated net worth of $60 thousand, but odds are it is much higher as her ex, Adam Lind has reported that Chelsea is making more than $300,000 per season now.

4. Amber Portwood

Estimated Net Worth: $10 Thousand. Amber Portwood is another Teen Mom with a troubled past that has led to some financial troubles. While all salaries of the show’s stars have been speculated, Amber Portwood is the only to one to testify to what she makes stating in court in 2010 that she made $140,000 for every six months of filming; however, an article by TV Guide in 2011 stated that the women get around $3,000-$5,000 per episode which works, out to $39,000-$65,000 a season. Amber also had her own book following her stint in jail and went on a book tour with Kailyn Lowry. Regardless, due to her legal troubles and having to pay child support to her ex who continues to have primary custody of their daughter Leah, Amber only has an estimated net worth of $10 thousand.

Estimated Net Worth: $20 Thousand. Catelynn Lowell and her now husband Tyler Balterria are famous for not being the only couple to stick it through on the show, but are also the only ones to give their child up for adoption. Catelynn and Tyler worked really hard to better themselves and their life before having more children and went on to welcome their second daughter after having bought a house and started school. The pair also make speaking appearances to talk about adoption and have been on Couples Therapy, and while they each make around $60,ooo-$75,000 per season, Catelynn’s net worth is only at $20,000, significantly less than some of the other stars. Again, their net worth’s are all speculation and with Catelynn and Tyler recently buying their dream farmhouse, they are expected to have a lot more than $20 thousand.

Maci Bookout has been one of the most vocal about the fact that being a reality TV star doesn’t make your rich and has often refuted the fact that starring on the show has made her rich. As with all of the other stars, it is estimated Maci makes at least $75,000 per season, but her net worth still sits at $10,ooo. This is interesting considering Maci gets paid to speak about being a teen mom and travels around doing so. She is also one of the moms who has embraced her reality TV stardom by getting endorsed to promote products on Instagram, which makes her lesser net worth that much more surprising. Together, she and her husband Taylor have welcomed two more children while also having Maci’s son Bentley primarily, and also launched their own very successful clothing brand Things That Matter. Now that the salaries for the show have increased, there is a lot more than $10 thousand sitting in Maci’s bank account.

She went on to release her own line of erotic toys and has continued to appear on Teen Mom, much to the disapproval of some of her castmates.
