Bold And The Beautiful News Round-Up For The Week (August 8, 2022)

Brooke and Liam will both confront Thomas about his schemes, this week on The Bold & The Beautiful (B&B). Also, Hope will comfort Douglas, who is fearful that Zoe is going to replace her as his mother. And Thomas’ scheme kicks into high gear when he asks Zoe to marry him. Plus, a sneak peek at next week. 9. Wyatt’s Pain

Wyatt will be going through hell this week, processing Sally’s fatal diagnosis. Even though Katie told him Sally didn’t want him to know about her illness, he rushed over to Forrester to see her. But once he arrived, he realized Katie was right and Sally doesn’t want his pity. Instead of telling her he knew about her diagnosis, he reiterated that if she ever needs a friend, he’ll be there for her. Wyatt is aware of how much he hurt Sally by breaking off their engagement, and he will begin to regret it. He will turn to Flo for comfort and come up with a plan to help Sally through this terrible time in her life.

8. Katie Questions Her Actions

Spoilers tease that someone else will also begin to lament her recent actions. Katie felt she was doing the right thing when she asked everyone to find it in their hearts to forgive Flo for her part in the baby Beth debacle. Katie is eternally grateful to her niece for donating her kidney to save her life and she just wanted to somehow pay it forward. But asking Wyatt to forgive Flo led to his breakup with Sally. Now that Sally’s been diagnosed with a fatal illness, Katie will wonder if her actions were a mistake.

7. Liam Grills Thomas

Rumor has it, Hope and Zoe will overhear Liam confronting Thomas this week. It’s expected that he’ll accuse him of flaunting his relationship with Zoe to make Hope jealous. Liam will also tell his rival that he knows he doesn’t have any real feelings for the Forrester model and is just using her. Viewers can expect Thomas to give it back as good as he gets it, and he’ll tell Liam he has no right to be throwing around accusations when he is the one who broke Hope’s heart by kissing Steffy.

6. Marriage Proposal

It looks like the marriage proposal that’s been rumored to happen for weeks now will take place this week. Spoilers tease that at a Forrester family dinner, Thomas will propose to Zoe. He can see that his scheme to make Hope jealous and at the same time fearful that she’ll lose Douglas, is working out exactly the way he wanted it to. Zoe will be thrilled by the proposal, but she’ll have one stipulation before she accepts.

Much like Liam did when he proposed to Hope, it sounds like Zoe will have a condition before she accepts Thomas’ marriage proposal. Liam’s words, warning her of Thomas’ true intentions, will still be still ringing in her head. So, she’ll publicly tell him she has a request before she will consider saying yes to his proposal. And like Liam’s proposal to Hope, will her condition have something to do with Douglas?

4. Brooke Confronts Thomas

Spoilers point to Brooke calling out Thomas for parading his relationship with Zoe to get to Hope. She hasn’t trusted Thomas for months now and it doesn’t seem like she’s going to change her view of him anytime soon. Thomas will defend himself, of course, and tell Brooke that she’s wrong. He’ll say that everyone, including his father Ridge, can see that’s he’s moved on from Hope and is in a healthy relationship with Zoe. But Brooke will tell him she sees right through him and knows he’s up to something.

Rumor has it, Douglas will also spill a secret to Hope. But what will he tell her? Earlier in the week, Thomas will send an unaware Douglas to Hope with an important message for her. Will Douglas begin to suspect that his father has been using him to get to Hope?
