Bold And The Beautiful News Round-Up For The Week (August 8, 2022)

Sheila will discover what Brooke did on New Year’s Eve and hand the information over to Taylor, coming up on The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B). Deacon won’t have Brooke’s support when he faces off against Ridge, but will he have Hope in his corner? Also, Grace will further complicate Paris’ love life when she questions her daughter’s choice in men. Looking beyond the latest spoilers, below are B&B plotline predictions for January 24th to February 4th, 2022.

12. Carter Will Try To Make Things Right

As much as Carter battled to be a better person and protect Zende’s feelings, he couldn’t resist getting pulled in for another make-out session with Paris. Carter is clearly falling for the other Ms. Buckingham, but he doesn’t want to find himself at odds with the Forrester family again. The aftermath of his love triangle with Quinn and Eric still lingers in the Forrester COO’s mind. So, until he and Paris figure out how to make a clean break with Zende, they can’t pursue their romance.

11. So… Who’s Going To Talk With Zende?

Someone’s gotta let Zende know it’s over, but who’s going to pick the short straw? Seeing as how Carter is now in the same position as Zende was, back when he was welcoming Zoe’s advances, Mr. Walton might come clean with his friend. However, as Ridge’s advice about staying away from women who are already in relationships echoes in Carter’s mind, perhaps he’ll hope Paris closes the chapter for him.

10. Enter: Grace

In the end, it may be Paris’ mother, Grace, who lets Zende know that he might want to keep his eye on that Carter pal of his. B&B spoilers state that Grace will find out that Paris has hooked up with her sister’s ex-fiancé, and be unimpressed with the choice. If Paris already feels like she has closure with Zende (and Carter wants to steer clear of more Forrester drama), Grace might try to salvage her daughter’s chances with Zende by cluing the designer in.

9. Another Angle

When Grace inserts herself into Paris’ affairs, the younger Buckingham won’t be very happy about it. Already irritated by Carter’s conscience, Paris will be truly horrified by her mother’s attitude toward the object of her affection. If Grace doesn’t spill the tea to Zende, she might tell someone who would definitely have something to say about Paris and Carter hooking up: Zoe!

8. Identifying Santa

Maybe Ridge should quit doling out advice to Carter and instead take some in. Steffy and Thomas will continue to point the finger at Brooke’s instability and warn their dad that he’ll get hurt in the end. B&B spoilers tease that Ridge’s grown kids will finally make sense of Douglas’ story about Grandma Brooke and Santa Deacon. We can count on Steffy bringing this revelation directly to her dad!

7. Ridge Finds Out!

Ridge is already conflicted, not only by his wife’s relapse but Taylor’s comforting presence. Making things all the more difficult for the Forrester is the fact that Taylor will continue to share her not-so-subtle feelings. Ridge has remained loyal to his wife, but there’s definitely a temptation around his ex. So when Steffy tells Ridge what she’s learned from Douglas, Ridge will understand all of Brooke’s talk about ‘not wanting to lose his love’ and immediately seek answers.

6. The Perfect Reason

In case viewers haven’t heard Brooke say this a hundred times over, she’s positive that Ridge will leave her if he finds out about Deacon. But that might not be the case. For one thing, Ridge has claimed that Brooke’s honesty around her relapse makes him want to be a better person. Secondly, Ridge might blame the whole thing on Deacon and use the New Year’s Eve incident to get rid of Mr. Sharpe, once and for all.

5. Taking Sides

B&B spoilers for the week of January 31st state that Ridge and Deacon will square off, and Forrester will repeat his threat about staying away from his wife. This time, Brooke won’t come to the ex-con’s defense, but will Hope? Even as Brooke confessed the details of her NYE to her daughter, Hope described it as “just a kiss” and reasoned that Deacon was not under the sheets. So, could Hope once again defend her bio dad against Ridge’s fury?

4. Fallout

Meanwhile, there’s no end in sight for Brooke’s wallowing. Even if the best case scenario happens, in which Ridge learns the truth and chooses to stand by his wife, there will be fallout for Deacon and Hope. When her father gets banned from the property (from Brooke, this time), it’ll mean that Hope can no longer have Deacon in her life. This will torment Brooke, who’s already on shaky ground emotionally, but it’ll also create conflict for someone else.

3. Douglas’ Custody

Will Brooke’s secret kick off a custody battle between Thomas, Liam and Hope? Douglas has felt a lot of pressure since he was asked to keep the Santa story to himself. He already feels guilty for having discussed it, and will feel even worse when he sees the struggle that Hope, Ridge and Brooke are going through. The stress of keeping Logan’s secret will likely become a sticking point in Thomas’ case to gain custody of his son.

2. Sheila Will Launch A New Attack

B&B spoilers indicate that Sheila will eavesdrop on Hope and Deacon. While it’s unclear how much Sheila will hear, she must hear something – because she’ll come away from the encounter with a fresh plan of attack. Will Sheila double down on her previous stunt and try to further sabotage Logan’s sobriety? Or, will she go right to Taylor and offer up intel that might reunite the psychiatrist with her ex-husband?

1. Taylor Will Hold The Power

Taylor will be in the unique position of holding the future of Brooke and Ridge’s marriage in her hands. When Sheila relays the news, she will also incriminate herself in Logan’s relapse. But, instead of electing to be the messenger who tells Ridge about Brooke’s lies, Taylor will inform Brooke what Sheila did. The way Taylor sees it, being a friend to Brooke just might get her closer to Ridge.
