Having already discussed his marital issues with Ridge and then with his wife directly, Eric will next confide in ex-wife Donna. Given that these two remain on friendly terms despite separating, will Eric’s trust issues evaporate in Donna’s company? Has Donna missed her Honey Bear? It wouldn’t take much for intimacy to spark between these two.

9. …Or Zoe Could Self-Destruct

When Zoe convinces Quinn to once again try and sway the Forrester COO on her behalf, she might as well be setting them up on a date. Quinn and Carter have already decided that they should talk more often. It was also interesting when Quinn warned Zoe that some things ‘can’t be taken back’. If Zoe is either dismissed by Carter or outplayed by Quinn, she could do something rash! Could Paris betray her sister? With no actress set to takeover her character, Zoe’s storyline could spiral to an abrupt end.

When Ridge consoles Thomas at the memorial tribute, his son will be emotional. There will be potent reminders of Thomas and Vinny’s friendship throughout their lives. Expect Thomas to rise from that mourning with a renewed anger and a passion to find the person (or persons) responsible for Vinny’s demise.

7. Catch-22 For Liam

Liam and Hope’s first night reunited should be one of romance and love. Whether or not he can suppress his feelings of guilt over Vinny and enjoy this reunion, well that’s the obvious question. But here’s the bigger question: will Liam successfully keeping his secret prove more destructive to his marriage than confessing everything? It would be an awful truth to unload on your partner, but it would at least prove to Hope that Liam is done hiding things from her. The odds of Lope making it would be slim, but better than if Hope is humiliated by her husband’s deceit… again!

It appears that Thomas and Hope will join forces to avenge Vinny’s passing, as the days progress. What could this mean for Liam? As Hope gets more invested in the details of the case, won’t she become concerned that her husband might’ve been involved? If she connects those dots, would Hope turn Liam in?

5. Liam Must Pick His Battles Carefully

Whether or not Liam tells her the truth, it seems as though Hope and Thomas are going to get closer as this murder mystery deepens. Liam might disapprove of Hope helping Thomas, under the guise of not trusting the Forrester around her, but he’ll have bigger problems to face — like getting interrogated by Lt. Baker! How close will Hope and Thomas get — not only to the truth, but to each other? We can already hear exactly what Brook will say!

4. Hope Gives Liam Up

It’s possible that Hope will point the finger at Liam accidentally, if she shares her recollection of what happened the night Vinny died. If Lt. Baker hears seemingly innocent details about Bill having had some tequila and giving the car keys to Liam, he might investigate which route the Spencers drove that night. He might also ask them about their car. The case would have its best lead yet!

3. Protective Father Or Defensive Culprit

Speaking of Dollar Bill, it appears that the face-off so far between Mr. Spencer and Lt. Baker has been tense. With the lieutenant’s curiosity already piqued by Liam’s “personal day”, he’ll undoubtedly also take note of Bill’s knee-jerk defence of his son as ‘not a murderer’. Will Bill’s hot-headedness lead Lt. Baker to take a closer look at the Spencer family?

2. The Man Who Knew Too Little

The lieutenant might even start with Wyatt. Fresh from his awkward conversation about the whereabouts of Bill’s sports car, Wyatt might unknowingly reveal a detail that would implicate his father. It would raise some serious eyebrows if Wyatt were to mention anything about Bill having his sports car flown overseas.

1. Modern Technology

Liam had warned Bill about modern technology solving crime cases, and it looks like Baker will utilize some! We don’t know what the evidence will be, or how Lt. Baker might procure it, but its discovery could land both Spencers in prison. Could this technology also determine that Vinny was killed before the hit-and-run? Lt. Baker will have his hands full with this case!
