12. What’ll Happen With Ashland Locke?

Looks as if Victoria will be suffering a JT Hellstrom-ish déjà vu in August, now that Ashland is missing. But has her dad Victor gotten involved with things? Y&R spoilers for early August suggest that the Moustache will cover his tracks. Has he done away with Locke’s body, without telling his kids yet? He wanted Ashland out of Genoa City for good, and he may have gotten his wish!

11. The Newmans Scramble

Nick and Victoria told Chance everything they know, but with Ashland’s body missing, does this mean the core Newman Family (i.e. Vic, Nick, Nikki and the Moustache) will try to cover up any wrong-doing? The foursome could scramble in August as they try to present themselves as “business as usual” during company hours. Behind closed doors, however, they’ll struggle to keep things afloat when it comes to their Locke “lie”.

10. Vic Confides

Meanwhile, Y&R spoilers for early August hint that Vicky will confide in Billy about something. While these exes don’t land on the same page very often, they do share a special bond and often divulge secrets to each other. One thing they have in common is their mutual hate for Ashland, so that could be enough reason for Vic to share what happened to Locke at her house.

9. “Chilly” In Full Effect

Speaking of Billy-boy, it’s hard not to speculate that he and Chelsea could get that much closer over the course of August. After all, they are collaborating on their podcast project together, and there’s always been a certain chemistry between the two. Billy is over-the-moon about Lily, but could temptation strike next month?

8. Nick’s Charm

Who can resist Nick Newman’s charm? Not many in Genoa City! Y&R spoilers for August suggest that he’ll lay on the charm. Is this in regards to lying about what happened to Locke, or could his charm be directed to a special someone? Sally Spectra is staying on at Newman Media, and now that she’s a single pringle, could she get closer to the charming other Newman brother?

7. Love Triangle On The Horizon?

From Chelsea and Sharon to even Sage, there’s nothing Adam and Nick love to do more than swap ladies. Therefore, it’s natural to assume that Nick and Sally could get closer for yet another Nick/Adam/(insert latest female interest here) love triangle. While Adam broke up with Spectra in a heroic effort to protect her cozy Newman role, he’ll likely freak out if (or when) he realizes his brother’s moving in.

6. Actually, A Love Square

Then again, fans can’t count out the fact that Adam and Sharon have always had a special bond. Since Rey’s passing, Ms. Rosales has relied heavily on her ex and baby daddy, Nick. But as she continues to get used to life without her hubby, she could navigate toward Adam. He may welcome this to intentionally get on Nick’s nerves, especially if his brother’s closeness with Sally is agitating him.

5. Trouble Brewing At Chancellor-Winters

Across town, there seems to be trouble brewing at Chancellor-Winters. Nate and Devon haven’t been seeing eye-to-eye, and Y&R spoilers suggest that Hastings will lose it on Hamilton in early August. If this happens, all bets could be off between the executives at the company. Will Lily need to step in?

4. Imani Takes Advantage

It’s hard not to think that Imani will take advantage of the rivalry between Nate and Devon. This could fuel the fire Nate’s been trying to extinguish when it comes to the attraction he feels for Benedict. Having someone in your corner can be comforting, and it can bond people. Benedict will do just about anything to snag Hastings, so bad-mouthing Devon and making it seem like she’s #TeamNate to get the good doctor in bed seems about right.

3. Could This Affect Devon and Amanda’s Relationship?

Working as one big happy family may seem like a good idea from afar, but things can get complicated — and fast! While Amanda is off-screen dealing with her mom’s health right now, she’ll be back in the mix of things come August. Could Nate and Devon’s issue at work affect her romance, too? Especially if Sinclair can see Hastings’s point of view? Hamilton can have an ego when it comes to matters of business.

2. Nikki and Phyllis’s Alliance Explodes

Nikki, Red and Ashley are all on the same page: they want Diane Jenkins out of town. While the three women work hard to protect Jack, Kyle, and in some ways, Summer, their plans might get blown out of the water in August! Diane is making tremendous progress with her son and his dad. If Jack finds out these women are scheming, it may be the “push” Diane’s been looking for to finally land Abbott.

1. Not So Fast, Red!

Intrepid viewers can see what’s coming from a mile away. Jack recently admitted to still loving Phyllis. There’s a good chance he may cave to another reunion next month, despite everything Red’s done in the past. Could these two get that much closer to a renewed romance, only for Phyllis, Nikki and Ashley’s scheme to blow the reunion up?
