Now that the Newman family has come together (sort of) and is targeting Ashland, will they finally drive the Locke-Ness Monster out of Genoa City? How will the Abbott family react to the news about Diane? Will there be any drama between Rey and Connor when they go to their hockey game? The Young and the Restless (Y&R) fans love to speculate! As such, below are some Y&R plotline predictions for April 11th to 22nd, 2022.

12. Whodunit?

Do any other Y&R fans out there feel as if a “whodunit” storyline is on the horizon? Ashland has ticked off plenty of people in Genoa City, from Victoria and Michael Baldwin to Billy, Victor, Nick and Adam. If he ended up passing in a suspicious way, there would be plenty of people who could be suspects.

11. There Are Some Hints

There are plenty of hints within Y&R spoilers, both this week and next, that could indicate Ashland’s days are numbered in Genoa City. Victor will set a trap for him this week, as Victoria unleashes her own revenge plan. Lastly, teasers for the week of April 18th note that Vic will be in the hot seat. If Locke ends up passing away, the first suspect would be his wife, considering all the assets they share and his co-CEO status at Newman-Locke. She’d be an easy target.

10. Billy Goes Above And Beyond

One interesting Y&R spoiler for the coming days implies that Billy will go to great lengths for Vicky. What if Vic and Ashland get into a fight, and Victoria accidentally hurts him, causing Locke to pass away? She may turn to Abbott for help, or he may stumble upon something if he goes to visit her. Would Billy risk it all to cover for his ex-wife? He does still care about her; plus, she is the mother of his children.

9. The Lily Winters Factor

That Y&R spoiler also suggests that Lily may not be overly pleased to find out just how far Billy will go to protect Vic. While Lily has been understanding about his complicated relationship with Victoria, covering up a murder with his ex-wife and not sharing the information with his girlfriend could create a wedge. Even if he does share it with her, knowing that he risked so much for Vicky could rub Lily the wrong way.

8. Hey Family! Guess Who’s Alive?

It’s going to be more than awkward when Jack reveals that Diane is alive this week. Y&R spoilers note that he’ll tell his family, but will he tell his siblings first or Kyle? Then again, he may bring everyone together in a room and tell them all in one shot! Knowing the situation and Jack, he may take the time to bring Kyle aside, and then tell the rest of the family after. It’s sensitive information, and Mr. Abbott will do everything he can to handle the matter delicately.

7. Kyle’s Reaction

Kyle will likely be emotional and upset when he finds out. He may even be mad at Jack for not telling him the moment he found out. Could this storyline become a replay of what happened between Jack and Keemo, all those years ago? Will Kyle try to shut his dad out of his life, or appreciate the effort and consideration his dad took in sharing this news?

6. Ashley’s Suspicious

If finding out that Diane is alive doesn’t have Ashley’s spidey senses tingling, the fact that Jenkins bought Keemo’s house certainly will. She’s already suspicious of Jack’s new granddaughter and this will only heighten things. Ashley will likely blow up once she hears that Jenkins faked her own demise and is (somewhat) linked to Allie. She’ll immediately tell Jack that he needs to be cautious when diving into a relationship with Keemo’s daughter. She’ll feel as if something doesn’t sit right, and she’s not wrong to feel that way.

5. Diane And Allie’s ‘Friendship’

If Ashley catches Diane and Allie interacting, she’ll continue to feel suspicious. After all, Allie seems to like Jenkins and the two have become acquaintances, if not friends. In fact, Jack’s daughter has confided in Diane, poured out feelings, and asked for insights on the Abbotts. Allie somewhat trusts Jenkins, even though she shouldn’t.

4. Rey’s Loyalty Tested

Y&R spoilers for the week of April 11th note that Rey’s loyalty will be tested. It’s hard not to think this is about Chelsea, and possibly crossing a line with her. Lawson could seduce Rosales in the coming days, either by charm, alcohol or drugs! But what if this teaser is a bit more complicated than that?

3. Sharon Takes A Stand

Y&R spoilers for the coming days also suggest that Sharon will take a stand. Rey’s set to take Connor to a hockey game, so could he have double-booked something? Maybe he was already committed to a date with his wife, or doing something with Tessa, Noah or Faith. Sharon’s feathers will be more than ruffled if he takes Chelsea’s child to do something important, thus ignoring her and her kids.

Then again, Rey could cheat on Sharon with Chelsea. Y&R spoilers for the week of April 18th hint that Sharon will experience déjà vu. This could mean anything, but fans know all too well that Nick cheating on Sharon during their marriage hit her hard. Both times. Then again, this could be about her rivalry with Chelsea re-igniting, if she senses something between Lawson and her hubby.

1. Could Rey Pass Away?

What if Rey’s loyalty is tested in a different way this week? He’s set to take Connor to a hockey game, but if the little boy lands in danger, he will risk his life to save the young man. That’s just the type of person Rey is. Sharon could “take a stand” against Adam and Chelsea in her anger, wondering why her hubby was with Connor when one of his parents should’ve been. Actor Jordi Vilasuso is set to leave the show sometime soon, so this could be his exit storyline.
