With new characters entering the canvas this month, how will these people change the dynamics within Genoa City? Will things get uglier between Chelsea and Vic? Will Nick and Sally continue to bond? 12. Who Is Trevor St. John Playing?

It’s been announced that actor Trevor St. John (Todd Manning, One Life to Live) will join the cast of Y&R soon; however, details about his new character have been kept under wraps. To whom will St. John be connected in Genoa City? Victoria could use a new love interest, after all! Could he be the “real Ashland Locke” (the one who presumably passed on so many years ago)? Could he have a family connection to Robert DeFranco (a.k.a. the Locke-Ness Monster), like a sibling or a cousin? Is there a possibility that he’s come to town to gain some revenge on those who did DeFranco wrong? (Looking at you, Newman family!)

11. Where Will Audra Charles Land?

Actress Zuleyka Silver will also enter Genoa City next month, playing big-wig executive, Audra Charles. As a new character to the show, she’ll be recruited by a Genoa City business icon, but there’s no more information on who that is, or who she’ll be sharing scenes with. Which company will Audra work for? Newman, Jabot, Chancellor-Winters, or Marchetti?

10. So Many Possibilities

Not much is known about Audra, so it’s easy to speculate. If she lands at Newman Enterprises, she could be a love interest for Nick. Will she have a rivalry with Nikki or Victoria? With that said, if she ends up at Jabot/Marchetti, could she be a past girlfriend of Kyle’s? While Billy is busy juggling many women in his life, could he add Ms. Charles to the bunch? Maybe she’ll drive a wedge between Devon and Amanda? The possibilities are endless!

9. Will Johnny Navigate Towards Chelsea?

Young actor Paxton Mishkind will take over the role of Johnny Abbott in early September. Could this mean more drama between Chelsea and Victoria, as the two “moms” struggle over decisions for the boy? Could Johnny navigate towards Lawson in a fit of rebellion against his other mother? If so, he may be playing right into Chelsea’s hands!

8. Who Will Billy Side With?

Billy’s been trying to remain somewhat neutral. While he agreed with Victoria about keeping Johnny out of the loop where Chelsea was concerned, he’s also managed to keep things “zen” with Lawson; so much so that she decided to cross a line and kiss him! Still, at the end of the day, Billy’s bond with Vic is strong. Now that he’s no longer podcasting with Chelsea, he’ll be #TeamVic and present a united front — not only for Vicky, but for Johnny’s sake, too. It’s important for parents to be on the same page – even co-parents.

7. Could A “Villy” Reunion Be On The Horizon?

It isn’t hard to see that Vicky and Billy will naturally grow closer in September, especially if Johnny has issues or is simply gravitating towards Chelsea. Vic is now single, and the two have always had a bond. Vicky recently confided in Billy about what her dad did, which was a huge move and a major indication that these two are still very close.

An interesting potential couple to emerge from the woodwork lately is Nick and Sally. The two have some sparks, and many fans feel like they could have a solid romance. They will likely continue to bond in September. Spectra isn’t one to beat around the bush, so things may move faster than Nick (or fans) expect. Could the two kiss? Maybe even more?

4. The Sharon Factor

This is an interesting dynamic. On the one hand, Sally is the only one of Adam’s exes who isn’t jealous or intimidated by Sharon, let alone the friendship she shares with Mr. Newman. Thus, Ms. Rosales and Ms. Spectra have built a good rapport; some may even say a friendship. On the other hand, Nick is Sharon’s baby daddy, ex, and one of her best friends. On top of that, the two always seem to fall back in love – even though their past relationships have failed. After Rey passed away, storylines hinted at a “Shick” reunion. Sharon was okay with Sally dating Adam, but will she feel the same way when it comes to Nick?

3. Could Adam Use Sharon For Revenge?

It’ll rub Adam the wrong way if Nick ends up dating Sally. He may even kick himself for breaking up with her in the first place. Adam’s dipping into his darker side, as of late. As Sharon and Spectra are friendly right now, will he use his bond with Sharon to make Sally and Nick jealous? If Nick sees Sally turning green (or vice-versa) at Sharon and Adam canoodling, it may be game over for any romance between these two.

Things are going great for Allie and Noah, which likely means that doom is around the corner. After all, a soap super couple isn’t a soap super couple without some obstacles. Could this new Audra character be Noah’s ex from Europe, the one who broke him entirely? Will her arrival in GC throw him off? If she is not his ex, could she find herself in his orbit? Will Ms. Charles throw a wrench in Ally’s romance?

1. What Obstacle Will Tessa and Mariah Face?

With “Teriah” revealing they are moving full steam ahead with adoption plans, and Y&R spoilers hinting at an obstacle on the horizon for the ladies, Tessa and Mariah may have issues expanding their family. They may get a stickler for an adoption counsellor, who causes problems and prolongs the entire process. Maybe Tessa’s health issues will become a negative factor during the adoption. Or, Porter and Mariah’s pasts could come back to haunt them!
