Young And The Restless News Round-Up For The Week (September 19, 2022)

On the cusp of a new month in Genoa City, and the drama will continue to intensify on The Young and the Restless (Y&R), and as a fan, there’s nothing more fun than to try and predict “what will happen next.” Will Adam and Sharon cross a line? How will Chelsea deal with seeing Adam’s ex help him so much? Will Victor and Victoria mend fences? Below are some Y&R plotline predictions for September 2020.

12. Cracks In Chadam

Y&R spoilers reveal that in light of all these new memories that have surfaced, Adam will begin to re-think his position within the Newman family. Chelsea will start to feel as if he’s slipping away. Seems as if there will be some massive cracks within the Chadam relationship come September, and Sharon and Adam’s friendship will continue to grow.

11. Sharon and Adam

Sharon will feel as if she’s the only one who can help Adam through all of this, so she’ll continue to pursue one-on-one (therapy) time with him. Adam will continue to spiral. With that said, Sharon will face a major obstacle when it comes to her breast cancer condition. Could Adam ensure he’s there for her during her time of need, as she has been with him? Absolutely! There’s nothing Adam loves more than feeling as if he can “save” Sharon. These two will head down a slippery slope in September.

10. Abby and Chance

Much like Chadam, Chabby may experience some cracks in September, and it all has to do with Adam. Chance will cover for Adam this month, which will leave a bad taste in Abby’s mouth. While Chance and Abby have had a good thing going, Chance’s friendship with Adam could come between them.

9. Phyllis Affects Chabby

As her relationship experiences cracks, Abby will also be preoccupied with Phyllis this month. Their hate-on for each other won’t die down and will only intensify in September, which may be another thing that turns Chance off her. Abby hates Adam and Abby hates Phyllis — is there anyone she gets along with? It’ll place an added damper on their romance, and if there are cracks, Chance may feel as if Abby should focus more on their relationship then getting back at Phyllis (or Adam, for that matter).

8. Amanda’s Connection To Hilary

The truth around Amanda’s link to Hilary is set to come out in September, as Amanda digs into her roots. In fact, Y&R spoilers indicate a storyline that involves her, Nate, Devon, and Elena is set for next month that will release a “storm” of romance, desire, and revelation. If it comes out that Hilary and Amanda are twins, this could add an interesting dynamic in Amanda and Devon’s new-found friendship.

7. Devon Will Feel Conflicted

Devon may start to feel an attraction to Amanda. After all, she looks exactly like his ex-wife, and by knowing that she’s not a schemer or manipulator, it’ll be hard for him to suppress any feelings he has towards her. Plus, knowing she is related to Hilary may have him wanting to be close to her, even on just a friendship level (that is more). It’s been proven that Amanda is a decent person, so, how can resist any lingering feelings he has for her? Especially if she has a connection to his ex-wife. He also won’t want to hurt Elena, but might not be able to help himself.

6. Amanda Will Feel Conflicted

Not only is Amanda becoming friends with Devon, but with Elena too. Amanda might start to catch some feelings for Hamilton and feel guilty for them. Elena is an extremely likable person, so it’ll be hard for Amanda to justify the way she feels, knowing it’ll hurt Elena (and Nate).

5. Jared Returns

Y&R spoilers reveal that Amanda’s ex Jared is set for a return. Could he escape jail and head for Genoa City, or somehow get off on all his charges? Regardless, if he does try and attack or get to Amanda, Devon could be the hero that saves the day in this situation, only bringing these two characters that much closer together.

The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B) alum Courtney Hope (a.k.a. This wouldn’t be the first time a character hopped between shows, and this is the land of soap operas where really anything can happen!

Y&R spoilers hint some drama on the horizon, as Chloe and Kevin’s baby is ready to make an appearance. Could the little one have a medical emergency after birth? It’s not that uncommon for mom or baby to suffer from a complication during delivery. How will this affect Chloe, especially since she’s already lost a child? Could she suffer from post-partum depression?

1. Young Love Fights Obstacles

Y&R spoilers hint that there will be obstacles for both Kyle and Summer, as well as Theo and Lola this September. Sounds as if both couples will need to work hard if they want to keep their relationships afloat. With that said, Theo will self-sabotage his romance with Lola, so it seems like these two won’t even have a chance to fully dive into anything special before they go their separate ways.
