Days Of Our Lives vet Thaao Penghlis will be making another return to the show as Tony DiMera.
The Days Of Our Lives winter promo revealed Tony DiMera’s return and showed the character making a toast with Anna upon their arrival back in Salem. The character of Tony was last seen on Days Of Our Lives on Tuesday, April 21 when Tony and Anna left Salem.
Tony was mentioned recently on Days Of Our Lives when Chad told Steve that he and Tony destroyed the Stefano chip. This poses the question as to whether the chip was destroyed at all or if Tony still has it? Or could Tony’s return to Salem simply be to visit for the holidays? Fans will have to wait to find out!
Penghlis has played the role of Tony DiMera since 1981 and many fans have speculated his recent return will likely be brief.
