Although Sheila Carter appears to be living on borrowed time on The Bold and the Beautiful (B&B), actress Kimberlin Brown has revealed that her character isn’t going anywhere for the foreseeable future.
So, with the LAPD in hot pursuit of suspects, will Sheila run out of time? “I certainly hope not,” Brown responded (as per Soaps.com). “I honestly don’t know where the storyline is going, but it should be exciting.”
If Brown doesn’t know when Sheila’s storyline will conclude – and the show generally tapes six weeks ahead of the airdates – it sounds like she will be painting Los Angeles red well into the summer, at least.

While the actress couldn’t answer whether she was taping at the moment, she acknowledged that she had “signed a long-term deal”. Viewers will recall that Sheila returned to B&B approximately eight months ago, stunning everyone with the declaration that she was Finn’s biological mother.
“Our contracts are written so that the show has an option on us – I believe – every three to six months,” Brown added, citing a condition that sister soap The Young and the Restless recently exercised with Jordi Vilasuso.
While a career in daytime drama is rarely safe, Brown appears confident that her character will get away with murder… for now.
“Hopefully I’ll be on The Bold and the Beautiful for a long time to come,” she replied to another fan question. “If they put me on a back-burner for a while due to circumstances, I’d love to stay within the CBS family.”
Hmm… “Circumstances”? Could that mean prison-time for one of soap opera’s leading criminals? “You never know,” she answered cryptically.
