14. Season 2 – Meredith Phillips and Ian Mckee

Season two of The Bachelorette showcased Meredith Phillips on her search for love which resulted in her choosing Ian Mckee and he wasted no time in proposing. Mckee proposed with a Tacori reverse crescent engagement ring that reportedly cost around $60,000, but only one year later the couple ended their relationship and as per the contract Phillips had to return the ring.

13. Season 4 – DeAnna Pappas and Jesse Csincsak

Back in 2008, DeAnna Pappas led The Bachelorette in her quest for love and in the end she selected professional snowboarder Jesse Csincsak. Csincsak proposed to Pappas with a stunning diamond Tacori ring with a center stone and accentuating diamonds on the band worth an impressive $60,000. The two went on to set a wedding date for May 9, 2009 but broke up only a few months after their engagement in November 2008, and it was Csincsak who revealed to the public that contestants must return their ring if they break up within two years of the engagement. “In the contract, it says if you are not together for two years after the final day of the show airing, you have to give them the ring back,” Csincsak said opening up the door for a lot of questions and answers about who pays for the stunning sparklers and what happens when the majority of Bachelor nation couples don’t work out. Interestingly enough Csincsak went on to marry Ann Lueders who appeared on The Bachelor‘s 13th season while Pappas married Stephen Stagliano, whose brother, competed on the fifth season of The Bachelorette.

12. Season 5 – Jillian Harris and Ed Swiderski

The fifth season of The Bachelorette featured the show’s first ever Canadian contestant with Jillian Harris and also for the first-time ever featured a whopping 30 contestants! After many dates, and a lot of decisions, Harris chose technology consultant Ed Swiderski who didn’t hesitate to propose. He offered Harris a beautiful 2.05 carat pear-shaped Neil Lane diamond ring which was accented by six baguette diamonds worth a cool $60,000 and was one of the boldest rings on the show at that time. After a year together, the pair broke up in July 2010 after Harris discovered that Swiderski had been cheating on her, and she had to return the ring.

11. Season 6 – Ali Fedotowsky and Roberto Martinez

In season six, Ali Fedotowsky returned to Bachelor nation after previously eliminating herself during Jake Pavelka’s season ending her chance at love early. Luckily, her season six journey as The Bachelorette went much better and in the end she had to choose between Chris Lambton and Roberto Martinez where she ultimately chose Martinez. The insurance agent then proposed to the blonde beauty with a 3.03 carat Asscher-cut diamond ring worth an estimated $50,000. Neil Lane said he chose the ring as one of the choices for Martinez because it was “girly and sophisticated” much like Fedotowsky. After 18 months together and several wedding postponements the two finally called it quits after they realized the pressures of real-life when the cameras were gone were too hard on their relationship.

10. Season 7 – Ashley Hebert and J.P. Rosenbaum

The first Bachelorette success story since season one’s Trista and Ryan began when Ashley Hebert was the second runner-up in Brad Womack’s season of The Bachelor. After becoming The Bachelorette for season seven, Hebert went on to choose construction manager J.P. Rosenbaum and he turned to Neil Lane to provide the perfect ring to propose with. Lane revealed that Hebert was very prepared and had “cut-outs from magazines of rings she’d dreamed about.” In the end Rosenbaum proposed with a 3.5 carat cushion-cut ring with diamonds not only accenting the center stone but surrounding the band as well, all coming to a value of $60,000. That was one ring that wasn’t returned as Hebert and Rosenbaum were married a year and a half later on December 1, 2012 in a TV special and have remained happily married and have welcomed two children together!

9. Season 8 – Emily Maynard and Jef Holm

Season eight of The Bachelorette was one of the most anticipated seasons yet as it featured Emily Maynard, who had actually won Brad Womack’s season of The Bachelor! The pair split while their season aired, got back together, and then officially split again and that is when Maynard accepted the chance of finding love again as The Bachelorette. In the end the finale was one of the most exciting of them all when it seemed for a moment she was not going to accept the proposal from her winner, Jef Holm, but after seeing the ring there was no way she could say no! Holm proposed to Maynard with a Neil Lane 2.5 carat center emerald-cut diamond set on a pave diamond band sparkler with 87 smaller diamonds on the halo and band with a final weight of 3.5 carats making it one of the biggest rings presented on the show. As one of the biggest rings, it also cost the most on the show at the time, with a cost of a whopping $68,000. After their July 2012 engagement, the pair split in October of that year.

8. Season 9 – Desiree Hartsock and Chris Siegfried

Desiree Hartsock had one of the most memorable seasons of The Bachelorette when one of the front-runners, Brooks Forester, decided to quit in week three. Despite his shocking exit, Hartsock went on to find love with her winner, mortgage broker Chris Siegfried who then presented Hartsock with an absolutely incredible ring. The modern stunner featured a halo setting around a 3.5 carat stone with a gorgeous rose gold band intertwined with platinum all covered in diamonds. An incredible ring doesn’t come without an incredible price tag however, and is said to have cost $75,000. Chris and the ring definitely charmed Hartsock as the couple married two years after their engagement on January 18, 2015 and in the summer of 2018 announced they are expecting their second child together!

7. Season 10 – Andi Dorfman and Josh Murray

No one will soon forget the tumultuous relationship between Andi Dorfman and Josh Murray which began when she became The Bachelorette for season 10. The no-nonsense brunette beauty met her match in former baseball player Josh Murray who ended the season by proposing to Dorfman with a “feminine, soft-shaped ring.” The Neil Lane creation featured a three carat central oval-cut diamond with a double halo surrounded by 154 round cut diamonds on a diamond-studded platinum band. The ring reportedly cost $72,000 and certainly looked it! The pair split a year after their engagement and afterward have done a lot of public bashing back and forth, especially after Dorfman released her tell-all It’s Not Okay.

6. Season 11 – Kaitlyn Bristowe and Shawn Booth

Kaitlyn Bristowe was one of the most open and honest Bachelorette‘s to take the lead on the show which had fans divided, but made for one interesting season. After being rejected in Andi Dorfman’s season 10 finale, Nick Viall once again found himself in the final two alongside Shawn Booth vying for Bristowe’s heart. Unfortunately he was once again left in the dust as Bristowe chose personal trainer Booth. Booth chose a 3.5 carat hand-crafted and signed Neil Lane ring which boasts a central round brilliant-cut diamond, 160 smaller diamonds, and an entwined band, all set in platinum. One look at the ring will leave you blinded, so it isn’t surprising that it is actually the most expensive ring in The Bachelorette’s history with a reported cost of $150,000! “I created this ring for her and I was thrilled when Shawn picked it,” Lane told the outlet. “He knew what he wanted. Shawn was raring to go. He knew they had a powerful connection and he seemed certain she was the love of his life. He just knew she was the one.” Following their 2015 engagement, the pair remained engaged until they announced that they had split in late 2018.

5. Season 12 – JoJo Fletcher and Jordan Rodgers

Season 12 of The Bachelorette was an interesting one. It was hard not to love JoJo Fletcher, but fans were upset that she made it obvious from day one that she was the most interested in Jordan Rodgers. Many believed Jordan wasn’t there for the right reasons, and might not even propose if she chose him, but he did — with a beautiful ring! Rodgers got down on one knee and proposed with a three carat Neil Lane oval-shaped diamond ring with an encrusted band set with over 155 smaller round diamonds. Lane explained that Rodgers thought that all the sparkle and the shape of the ring that looked like a crown reminded him of Fletcher who he thought of as “his princess.” You would have to be royalty to afford it too, because the ring cost anywhere between $85,000 and $100,000! Following their 2016 engagement, the pair don’t seem to be in a rush to get married and are happy just living life together.

4. Season 13 – Rachel Lindsay and Bryan Abasolo

Everyone thought Rachel Lindsay was out of season 21 Bachelor Nick Viall’s league, and were thrilled when she became the season 13 Bachelorette and very first black Bachelorette lead. While most were rooting for runner-up Peter Kraus, Lindsay chose 37-year-old chiropractor Bryan Abasolo who proposed with one of the franchise’s most expensive rings yet! He selected a three carat pear shaped diamond set within a halo of 80 round-cut diamonds which was designed and signed by Neil Lane and is set on platinum and diamond, coming in with a cost of $100,000. “Apparently Rachel had talked about a pear-shaped diamond and this was her fantasy ring,” says Lane. “Bryan lit up when he saw it.” The two have been enjoying engaged life and are reportedly planning a 2018 wedding!

3. Season 14 – Becca Kufrin and Garrett Yriogyen

Becca Kufrin never thought she would need to be The Bachelorette after season 22 Bachelor Arie Luyendyk Jr. proposed to her at the finale. Unfortunately he called in the camera crews before the After the Final Rose special to film him breaking up with Becca so that he could pursue a relationship with his runner-up Lauren Burnham. Less than five months after the heart-breaking broken engagement, Becca found love once again after she chose Garrett Yriogyen as her season 14 winner. Yriogyen ended up proposing with one of the show’s most unique rings. He chose a 3.76 carat Neil Lane original with not one, not two, but three oval diamonds all perched on an 18 karat gold band decorated with 84 full-cut smaller diamonds with a total weight of over 3.75 carats. “I wanted to make a ring that was totally different than anything I had done for the show before,” Lane explained. “I wanted to create something very special for Becca, especially considering everything that happened with Arie.” Surprisingly enough, the ring is not one of the show’s most expensive but did reportedly cost $67,000.

2. Season 15 – Hannah Brown and Jed Wyatt

Season 15 of The Bachelorette was one of the most dramatic yet. Hannah Brown had an unprecedented amount of controversial contestants on her season from guys with surprising outlooks on their relationship with Hannah to men with previous relationship drama, and in the end she chose Jed Wyatt over her runner-up Tyler Cameron. In the two part finale however, fans watched as Hannah revealed Jed broke her heart by not telling her the truth about his previous relationship and ended their engagement. Before the relationship fell apart, Wyatt proposed with a classic oval cut diamond surrounded by a halo of 89 smaller round diamonds to a diamond set band — for a total of 3 karats — designed by Neil Lane. It was handmade in platinum. The stunning ring had an estimated cost of a maximum $80,000.

1. Season 16 – Clare Crawley and Dale Moss

The 16th season of The Bachelorette was only airing for two weeks before there was an engagement! In one of the biggest twists of the franchise, Clare Crawley cut her time as the Bachelorette short after finding “the one” in Dale Moss after only a few days. Clare decided to not spend anymore time with the other men and only with Dale, after spending the night together and saying “I love you,” Dale proposed. Moss proposed with a stunning Neil Lane designed ring that features a central radiant cut diamond frame by two shield cut diamonds. Topping it off? Even more diamonds! The rest of the ring is accent with 145 smaller round cut diamonds, with an approximate total weight of 4.5 carats. The ring reportedly costs anywhere from $60,000-$80,000.
