Becca Kufrin’s season of The Bachelorette is shaping up to be really exciting! While the vast majority of the men seem promising, we already know, thanks to Reality Steve, who will be winning Becca’s heart. While Garrett Yrigoyen has been revealed to be the one who will propose to her in the final episode, we also know that Blake Horstmann will be the runner-up with Jason Tartick placing third and Colton Underwood fourth. Since we all want to know who these four guys are, we’ve done some sleuthing and have come up with these 12 facts about Becca’s final four:
According to his ABC bio page, he considers himself to be a “modern romantic.” “Blake considers himself a modern romantic who believes that two people need to be independent in order to truly love each other, so he’s looking for his equal match,” it reads. He definitely comes off as a romantic. In the episode “After the Final Rose” in March, when Becca was announced as Bachelor Nation’s new Bachelorette, he showed up with a horse!
While Colton doesn’t win Becca’s heart, he will be getting another shot at love on Bachelor in Paradise. According to Reality Steve, he will be joined in Paradise by Tia Booth, the Bachelor alum who he dated before he was cast on The Bachelorette. He reportedly ghosted her when he found out that he was going on the show, so it might be a little bit awkward in paradise!
Garrett was married for just six months to Kayla Cunningham. Their wedding was on September 19, 2015 and their divorce was finalized on March 25, 2016. Neither person received spousal support or alimony. Court documents state, “Petitioners allege and state they are incompatible in marriage. They can no longer live together as husband and wife and there is no possibility of reconciliation.”
Underwood has played for three NFL teams: San Diego Chargers, Philadelphia Eagles, and Oakville Raiders. He has stepped away from the sport though after learning that another injury to his arm might prevent future movement.
Yrigoyen is an avid baseball player and baseball fan. He played in high school when he was a student at Sierra High School in Manteca, California and he continued playing in college when he attended San Joaquin Delta College in Stockton, California and then the University of Nevada.
Jason has a Bachelor Degree in Science and Business Administration, as well as a Masters of Business Administration Degree. For his MBA, he specialized in finance and accounting. For the past eight years, he has been working at Key Bank. He currently is a Vice President and Senior Middle Market Banker at the company.
Throughout high school, Blake played both basketball and football. He attended Hastings College in Nebraska where he played football. Even though he no longer plays, he’s still a big football fan. He loves the Denver Broncos, and is also a fan of hockey and golf.
Colton dated Olympic gymnast Aly Raisman for about six months in 2017. The relationship began after Colton asked her out via a Yahoo! Sports video and then their friends, Andrew East and Shawn Johnson, helped set them up. According to him, distance was a factor in the breakup and so was the public scrutiny. “It put a lot of pressure on us, sure, but we had fun with it. A lot of fun date nights,” he said. “Those six months were great.”
Garrett is really outdoorsy and adventurous. He currently lives in Reno, Nevada, and in his spare time he likes to fish, shoot, hike, snowboard, wakeboard, snowshoe and swim. He also likes to travel.
Tartick is originally from Buffalo, New York, but he currently lives in Seattle Washington. His parents left Buffalo and now they live in Charlotte, North Carolina. His family is very close with Jason being especially tight with his mom.
Hortsmann has a Degree in Communications from Hastings College in Nebraska, but he now lives in Bailey, Colorado, where he works for Coors. He began working for the company in 2014 as a Merchandiser and Route Relief and now has a job with them as an Off Premise Sales Rep.
Underwood has a cousin with cystic fibrosis, a genetic disorder that affects the lungs, pancreas, liver, kidneys and intestines, so he started a non-profit organization called the Colton Underwood Legacy Foundation. His charity provides resources for research, as well as support for people living with cystic fibrosis.
