Bold And The Beautiful News Round-Up For The Week (August 8, 2022)

9. Baker Questions Thomas

Spoilers tease Deputy Chief Baker will question Thomas this week. And, as with Liam, he’ll allow his daddy to stay in the room. Much like Bill did, Ridge will interrupt and even get defensive while Baker interrogates his son. But how will Baker react? He already suspects Thomas had something to do with Vinny’s demise, so will Ridge’s actions put him on high alert?

8. Hope For The Future

After Liam spends his first night back at home, he and his wife will look forward to a bright future together. Hope will tell him she’s happy he’s returned and of course Liam will be thrilled to be back in his wife’s arms. But what Hope doesn’t know yet is that The Waffler is waffling again and has another secret. Although this secret isn’t just an indiscretion with another woman, it’s the fact that he killed a man and his father covered it up.

7. Liam Hides His Truth

Determined to keep the truth from his wife, Liam will try his best to hide his guilt, shame and pain from Hope. He hit Vinny with his father’s car and left him on the road. That’s a fact and it’s not going to change; Liam knows it. But one thing’s for sure: Liam doesn’t want Hope to be suspicious, so he’ll be on his best behavior when she’s around.

6. Wyatt Is Suspicious

Speaking of suspicious, Wyatt has walked in on two questionable conversations between his father and Liam, and he will become highly dubious of them both. He’ll be convinced that Liam and Bill are lying about something, he just won’t be able to put his finger on it. However, will he become annoyed enough about their hush-hush discussions to confront them?

5. Zoe The Broken Record

It doesn’t seem to matter to Zoe that Carter has told her at least four or five times that he’s done with her; she will still refuse to give up. Carter doesn’t trust her anymore and their relationship is kaput, no matter how you slice it. However, like a broken record, Zoe will set out to prove to her ex-fiancé, yet again, that she is the right woman for him. Best of luck to her, but many of us will be fast-forwarding through these scenes.

4. The Old College Try

Thomas will pretend to be happy for Hope when she tells him she and Liam have reunited and her husband has moved back into the cabin. He’s told Hope he would support any decision she made when it came to the flip flopper, but a part of him will still be a little disappointed when he hears the news. Nevertheless, he’ll give it the old college try and tell her he has her back no matter what.

3. Brooke Is Stunned

Spoilers tease that Brooke will be stunned when Carter defends Quinn during a conversation they’re having. He’ll tell Brooke that no one is perfect, and everyone makes mistakes. Brooke will remind him of how manipulative Quinn can be and will tell the Forrester Creations COO that she’s astonished by his defense of her rival. But will she also ask him why he’s had such a turnaround in his attitude where Quinn is concerned?
