9. The Way They Were

Thomas pushes Steffy to reminisce about the good times she shared with Liam. As much as she doesn’t want to admit it, even to herself, she still loves Liam and his pending annulment could pave a path forward to a reunion. The Waffler has admitted several times that he loves Steffy. But does he love her as much as he loves Hope? And will Steffy really be willing to take him back from Hope as a consolation prize?

Hope seems to have her mind made up, so will Brooke’s pleading fall on deaf ears?

In casting news, Lawrence Saint-Victor will return as Carter Walton on B&B this week. But unlike his usual appearances, officiating weddings or assisting with illegal adoptions, he will be presiding over Hope and Liam’s annulment. Rumor has it, when he is alone with Hope, Carter will encourage her to rethink her decision. Thomas will overhear and will confront Carter about his sage advice. He will likely tell Carter that Lope’s annulment is none of his business. Carter believes it is his business, as he was the officiant at Liam and Hope’s wedding last summer.

Rumor has it, Xander will burst into the office at Forrester Creations just as Hope and Liam are about to sign their annulment papers. He will tell them he needs to speak with them alone before they sign anything. But will Zoe be right behind him? And will she convince him not to say anything about the baby swap? With rumors of an impending death on B&B, now that Xander has found out the secret, he is the number one candidate who could be eliminated from the B&B canvas. Will Xander meet with an unfortunate accident this week? Or will something more sinister occur?
