Bold And The Beautiful News Round-Up For The Week (August 8, 2022)

This week on the Bold & The Beautiful (B&B), Liam will break the news to Hope that Steffy is adopting a baby daughter and it’s not going to go over very well. Also, Flo will start to feel overwhelmed by her part in Reese’s scheme and Reese will crash the talent show that Zoe, Emma and Tiffany are competing in. 9. Reese Puts On A Show

Zoe will have a great time trying to show up Tiffany and Emma in a talent competition this week, until her father Reese bursts in and interrupts it. Zoe has no idea that a thug has been following her and that by entering and participating in the contest, she has put her life at risk. She will be angry with her father, but on the upside, maybe the multi-talented Wayne Brady (Reese) will treat viewers to a song and dance routine!

8. A Cool 200 Grand

Spoilers show Reese will get his money from Taylor and Steffy and pay off his gambling debts. Joey Travolta (the brother of John and Ellen Travolta) will appear on B&B this week as Mr. Thicke. He will likely play the mob boss Reese owes money to. The doctor will plead with Mr. Thicke, and the thug who has been following and threatening Zoe, to leave his daughter alone for good, now that he has paid the $200,000 he owed.

7. Liam Meets Baby Phoebe

Liam will immediately be charmed by “Flo’s” baby when he meets her this week. He will feel a strong bond to the baby girl Steffy wants to adopt. Of course, Liam will have no idea that the intense connection he feels is towards her is because she is his own daughter, baby Beth.

6. Hope Demands Answers

Reese will be on the hot seat this week when Hope runs into him at her doctor’s office. She will demand answers from him about the night her daughter died. Spoilers indicate Hope will grill him about exactly what happened when she passed out and what caused the placental abruption. Hope will notice that Reese seems nervous as she grills him for information, but she will assume it’s because he feels remorseful that her baby died under his care.

5. Flo Is Concerned

Now that Flo knows Reese stole the baby she’s passing off as her own to pay off his gambling debts and protect his daughter, she will be overwhelmed with worry about her part in his scheme. Flo will also realize she’s gone too far with it to back out now. When Flo met Steffy last week the pair hit it off, which will also cause Flo to feel uncomfortable about Steffy adopting a child who is only available to her under false pretenses.

4. Steffy Finalizes Adoption Plans

When Steffy met baby Beth last week she told her mother “it felt like I just met my daughter.” Steffy, you had just met Hope’s daughter. “When I looked into her eyes, I saw family, connection, belonging,” Steffy said. “I truly believe that this baby was meant to be Kelly’s little sister.” Steffy had good reason to feel that way since the baby is Kelly’s half-sister! This week, with Liam’s blessing, she will go ahead with plans to start the process of adopting “Flo’s” baby.

3. Speedy Adoption

Although it’s rumored that Ridge will be overcome with emotion when he hears that his daughter Steffy is adopting a baby girl, he and Brooke will question why the adoption is being rushed. Adoptions normally take months to finalize, so Bridge will be suspicious that the process is moving this quickly.

2. Liam Tells Hope Steffy’s News

Liam will be nervous as he prepares to tell Hope that Steffy is finalizing plans to adopt a baby daughter. He’s optimistic that she will be happy for Steffy but is not at all surprised when her reaction is quite the opposite. Hope will be understandably upset and angry when she hears the news, as Steffy had told her at Beth’s memorial: “I’m going to help you through this, I promise.” Hope will feel as though Steffy has betrayed her and will also wonder if Steffy has an ulterior motive for adopting and if her Sister Wife wants Liam back.

1. Change Of Heart

Spoilers say that later in the week, Hope will suddenly have a change of heart when it comes to Steffy and her new child and will urge Liam to spend more time with them and with his daughter Kelly. Brooke will be worried about her daughter’s sudden change of heart and will question Hope on why she is encouraging her husband to spend time with his ex-wife.
