Stacy Haiduk, who portrays Kristen DiMera on Days Of Our Lives (DOOL) is set to exit the sudser next week, according to Soap Opera Digest.
Spoilers tease Kristen will locate Sarah Horton (Linsey Godfrey) and her daughter Rachel in Paris. She’ll enjoy a happy reunion with her child but will realize it can’t last long. Kristen is wanted in Salem for stabbing Victor Kiriakis (John Aniston).
She’ll contact Brady Black (Eric Martsolf) and he’ll make a heart-wrenching decision and tell Kristen she should go on the run with Rachel. Because if she returns, she’ll be arrested on site.
Haiduk, who is no stranger to soaps, played Hannah Nichols on All My Children from 2007 to 2008 and the dual role of Patty Williams and Dr. Emily Peterson on Young And The Restless (Y&R) from 2009 to 2016. She took over the part of Kristen from Eileen Davidson (Ashley Abbott on the Y&R) in 2017 and has appeared as Kristen on and off since then.
Although the character has committed despicable acts over the years, most recently kidnapping Nicole Walker and her daughter and posing as Nicole for months, writers have tried to redeem Kristen, and she’s been a more sympathetic character lately.
