George DelHoyo Is Leaving Days Of Our Lives

George DelHoyo’s latest stint as Orpheus on Days Of Our Lives (DOOL) is winding down and he will exit the soap on June 4.

The actor returned to the sudser on March 13, when it was revealed the baddie was nanny Evan Frears’ (Brock Kelly) father. As usual, Orpheus caused all kinds of havoc in Salem, including the demise of Adrienne Kiriakis (Judi Evans) and baby Mickey. Most recently, he kidnapped his grandson David and his rival John Black (Drake Hogestyn) and held them for ransom.

Steve Johnson (Stephen Nichols) used a taser on Orpheus to take him down, and brought him to the Salem police department. But this didn’t satisfy Justin Kiriakis (Wally Kurth), who pulled a gun on Orpheus in the interrogation room and threatened to shoot him. But Steve managed to diffuse the situation and get the gun out of Justin’s hands.

DelHoyo is a veteran actor who has appeared on many television series including B.J. And The Bear, Galactica 1980, St. Elsewhere, Jake And The Fatman, Cheers, Frasier, Home Improvement, Sliders, Beverly Hills, 90210, Walker, Texas Ranger and 9-11.

Will Orpheus end up spending the rest of his life in prison, or will he return to Salem one day to wreak even more havoc on the town? Keep watching DOOL to find out!
