On Thursday, October 31, former MTV Teen Mom 2 star Jenelle Evans has announced on Instagram that she will be splitting from her husband, David Eason, after taking some time for herself.
“I’ve mostly kept off social media the past few days because I’ve been focused on making some big life decisions. I’ve lived my life on camera since I was 17 years old. And alot of it hasn’t been pretty. But its been my life,” Evans wrote on Instagram.
“Like anyone else I want what’s best for my kids and I want to be happy. With time away from Teen Mom I’ve started to look at my life differently and I know I need to make changes. I’m starting that now,” she added.
“The kids and I have moved away from David. Nobody gets into a marriage expecting it to end but I know thats what is best for me, and for my kids. Today I’ve filed papers to start that process.” said Jenelle.
“I appreciate the support from everybody who has asked how I am. Me and the kids are doing great. We need some time to be together. But you’ll hear from us again soon. – Jenelle ,” ended the post made by Evans.
Evans and Eason tied the knot in September 2017 at their home in North Carolina. The two share a daughter, Ensley, and co-parent a 5-year-old son, Kaiser – who is Nathan Griffith’s son. She is also the mother to 10-year-old Jace, who she shares custody with Andrew Lewis. While, Eason has an 11-year-old daughter named Maryssa, from his previous relationship. The couple’s split comes six months after he shot and killed her dog after it snapped at their 2-year-old child Ensley. After the terrifying situation, Evans told US Weekly that she was considering ending her marriage with Eason.
